It came on my Valk I/S when I bought it some 9+ years ago, but is an iron horse leather pouch that goes below the tach and speedo in the middle of the handlebars. right in front of the middle of the gas tank. I never put anything in it though, just looks cool. It would hold a pack of smokes and sunglasses if need be but that is about it. I like it since it looks cool and covers up that empty space upfront in the middle. I also love my iron horse leather tank bib works great for my mp3 player and some change is about it in the smaller pouch down below. It would hold a pack of smokes but doubtful for even sunglasses.
I suppose you can do the same thing very cheap with a fake leather black vinyl small fanny pack wrapped around the middle of the handlebars in the middle like mine in front of the gas tank below tach/speedo. would be easy to do and work as long as not too big to hit the gas tank while turning the handlebars.
I also have 2 very nice black plastic barefoot willie cupholders that work GREAT for drinks or smokes or sunglasses just fine and has been working well the past 9 years as well not breaking and very secure for like 21 bucks each. It has held up just fine with a LARGE sized Mcdonalds soda plastic cup filled and that is pretty heavy and still secure. I was thinking the plastic clamp would break over time since I cranked it on pretty tight to the handlebars, but so far has held up just fine all these years.
Not a fan of magnetic tank bibs since although they say they will not scratch the paint, I think they all will over time especially if left on all the time. A clean waxed tank helps to prevent scratches which is obvious if using a magnetic tank bib. I bought one being a Joe Rocket one, new over 65 bucks, for 20 bucks on craigslist just for the heck of it since bought other bags from this guy dirt cheap.
Wife says I need to STOP buying ATV and cycle accessories on craigslist since I now have enough to last me the next 20 years or more for 3 cycles and 3 more ATVs. She says just because it is a good deal does not mean you need to buy it. I say the same thing on her buying clothes and shoes all the time....
