I have a '98 Valk Tourer, and my hard-bags are a little nicked up.  Has anyone ever had their bags touched up or re-finished/painted?  What was the cost to do so?

Thanks

Mike

Do your self a favor and get your paint from Color Right wether you do it or you have it done.  I've been thru the we can shoot it with the computer gun and match it.  THAT NEVER DID WORK FOR ME
Good Luck hope this helps

If you have a local auto bump shop, talk to their painter (or call around).  Since my wife had her truck into my local bump shop seven times over the years, I know all those guys on a first name basis.  crazy2

Their painter did a pair of new unpainted OE Yami hardbags for $250.  And it looked as good as any new paint on any new vehicle.  He's also done some small cleanup and buff-out work for me better than I could ever hope to do, for very reasonable.

And BTW, black is black.  Absent flake or other add-ins, there is only one shade of black.  Sure, some paint is better quality than others.  But there are not different shades of black.  Of course, brand new black may look better than the rest of your 18yo black.
