Wiggy, prayers headed your way daily, lung cancer many years ago, surgery, no chemo or radiation, still on this side of the grass. No matter what the bad, find the good, it's there. There are more survivors all the time!

Russ,

Will keep you and your family in my prayers.  The ride on the Chief Joseph and Beartooth was great this last Inzane with Josh and Brad, and hoping to share the road with you this next Inzane.

God bless.

Folks, your responses have been overwhelming to say the least. I am so proud to be a part of this family.
I apologize in that I can't get a response off to each and every one of you at this time. Medical tests and appointments are taking up a large part of my time.

Yesterday, I had a mediport put in during the morning hours and then last night at 8:00pm, I had an MRI of the brain. I believe that will come back clean but my wife wanted it done as a precaution.
Monday I have some educational meetings and then meet with my oncologist. Wednesday I have my first round of chemo which should take about 5 hours.

I'm getting a wonderful surprise in the fact that my daughter is flying in from Loveland, Co for a few days. She's the Physician's Assistant daughter. So my whole family will be together for a few days before the chemo begins.

I have a favor to ask. For those of you who have figured out a workaround for posting pics on the VRCC, such as a substitute websibe for PhotoBucket  or an alternate method, I'd sure appreciate that site. Thanks so much and God Bless you all!

Russ,

I've found success using a site recommended to us by Serk... Postimage.org   I'm not sure if that's the one meathead is suggesting or not, but... Good luck and warmest regards again!!!

You are in my prayers my brother.
Russ I think talking and learning what you are fighting
can be a good thing, but as most of us have said  attitude
and faith  will be where your strength  lies.
I have had a fight or two in my life and have found these two
Things to be the best for us.
    Love and prayers!

Russ, just got on the site and saw your post. I am sorry to see the post. I am sending my thoughts and prayers for a full recovery and hope it goes smoothly. It is heartwarming to see that your family will be together for a little while and support your fight. I know it won't be easy but it's a fight that can be won.

My niece at the age of 19 started having strange symptoms and finally was diagnosed with a very deadly form of leukemia. It is so deadly that if not treated within the first 2 weeks of first symptoms it has a 100% fatality rate.  Well, treatment for her started at the end of the 2nd week. I am happy to say that Saturday the 28th of October I attended a light the night ceremony with my niece as the guest speaker being 3 years cancer free.

Stay positive and keep your family close. That includes your Valkyrie family. We wish you and your family the very best.
