Savago, Those photos reminded me of Canaan Valley West Virginia.  Some friends and I used to go over to the valley and play with our jeeps in the mud and rough terrain every chance we got. there were a couple of questionable bridges there that looked a lot like the one in your photos.  One of them was usually submerged a few inches under the surface of the water which added to the challenge of keeping tires on what timber was there.  They used to have a bike and ATV race there every year called the Blackwater 100.  The race gained a lot of fame before it was shut down. Now the whole area is off limits to all motor vehicles.  Anyway, here is a link to some video of that race when it was a real happening: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6stqii6mvxs  I know several of you are going to enjoy that.

Now, if you had added ice/snow to that option list, I could have responded in a heartbeat.
I've seen the results (pics) of ice and snow riders and their bikes who challenged Mother Nature.   I'll let them lead the way.  Wink

To each their own I say.   Glad you enjoyed the ride.   I can handle and frequently do ride in colder temps but, my limit is on slick roads.   Learned a long time ago I'm allergic to pain.  But, enjoy it while you can.    cooldude

Knew a guy a long time ago that rode his bike daily regardless of weather (his choice, he had other options).   He even put outriggers on the bike and rode in conditions I hesitated driving my 4wd truck in.   Different strokes for different folks is all I can say.

"snow" was really sleet, no accumulation. Rain 20% of the ride. This particular ride is a yearly "event" for a couple of us.  It needs to be in the late fall because the area, Muskoka, is JAMMED with tourist all summer.  Some of the best twisties in the province, nice long 80 mph sweepers, more time on chicken strip than the middle!!!! Road with a yami Stratoliner and a Vic x-roads.  The Big twins are nice, but the valk stood out!!!  Love it!!

There is a guy on the V4muscle bike forum who uses outriggers on his "winter" goldwing!!! From Toronto area, they don't get nearly as much snow down there, but still haywire!!!!
