I have heard of grinding pegs which I rarely do, but I am getting ready by changing oil on 250cc scooter today to put up cycles/scooter for the season and noticed on bottom left side one of the gearcase/belt cover bolts and part of the cover itself on bottom is ground off pretty bad.  I was puzzled like how did that happen?   I am not a pic guy so gonna have to take my word for it, but had a sort of a bewildered/puzzled look on my face like what rock/off road obstacle could have ground 1/3rd of that bolt off and about a quarter size piece of the gearcase housing itself.   2funny

I did push it pretty hard this summer into corners leaning over more than I normally do just to see how the michelin city grip 16" tires stick (same size as honda rebel tires), and they must have done their job for never in 7 years of owning that scoot have ground off bolts.... Grin

gee, might have to replace that belt housing cover along with that one lower bolt if I keep this up.. 2funny

I remember Thumper used to grind down the engine guards on Charline...
Duffy has that bike now, but I didn't think to look and see if they've been replaced
when we were at the Fall Color Ride...
