Three Valkyries and four riders made it to the memorial, or as it was actually named the celebration of life.
It was really amazing and refreshing that it wasn't a tear fest. Bruce has a really cool family, they were all in good spirits and we talked about Bruce a lot. I think it meant a lot to them that a showing from the VRCC was there.
Bruce's wife came out to see their old bike and noticed right away that all three bikes were Valks.
We came home the long home which included a sunset cruise along the bay.
Was a good day
It was a very good Memorial for BF. His 2 boys were very appreciative of us being there. Great pictures of Bruce from years back especially with that long blond hair that most females would have been envious of. Bruce put in over 30 years working at the Climate Lab associated with Eglin AFB, very dedicated employee. His 2 boys are fine looking young men that look just like the pic's of Bruce from his younger days. Aaron his oldest was eager to tell us about times with his dad. A strong family of friends was obvious while Linda his wife explained how the 2 boys were the strong support while Bruce was going thru his health issues. I'm glad I didn't make Bert's BBQ in Central FL because of the cold temps and Jeff put this together. Please send prayers out to them all. God Bless his family.
