I found a line drawing of a Valk online. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to reduce the size so the complete image will go on a piece of paper. Like the title says, I know.  Embarrassed
Anybody here do marquetry ?

send the address of the drawing online and we can all give it a try.  8.5 x 11?  11 x 17?

you mean, like, you have a image.jpg file and when you print it, the
picture comes out on more than one page?

yes, sorry I'm not that good at doing or describing it. My thinking was there would be a zoom feature to reduce the size. But if there is I can't figure it out. I'm on Windows 7 if that matters. When I save it, it comes across as a .png file. Does that matter ?

Most programs that you print with will have some way to help you
make it do right... I print lots of stuff from Firefox, you get a
chance at a "print preview", add or remove any stuff in the page
margins, pick a % size to print and see it all before you press "go".

You don't have to change the original image file to make it print
out on one page, the program you use to print the image file should
have controls like I described to help you get the image to print
out like you want...

There are several free picture programs on the web that allow all kinds of editing.
A simple easy one is IRFANVIEW.
Download, install and then you can do almost anything to a picture.

Hell, I couldn’t even print the cursed thing out properly. I’m sure I’d screw up the editing within minutes.
