So many colors to choose from yet so few stand out

Covington, TN

« on: January 07, 2018, 07:00:47 AM »

Just finished watching Meet the Press who had the author of this book about President Trump currently selling out.
I have no doubt who is buying these books. Honestly, I'm not a fan of President Trump even though, I think he's taking us the (generally) right direction.

But, after observing the author during the Meet the Press opportunity, I have no doubt about his agenda (anti-Trump) and all about selling his book and making big $$$.

Opinions??????????????

I have no idea what is true in the book or not. Although many who were quoted are not denying it. But I would like to state I too am a "very stable genius"  Smiley (joke, I am neither stable or genius)

The author WRITES THESE WORDS HIMSELF

“Many of the accounts of what has happened in the Trump White House are in conflict with one another; many, in Trumpian fashion, are boldly untrue. These conflicts, and that looseness with the truth, if not with reality itself, are an elemental thread of the book.”

AND

“Sometimes I have let the players offer their versions, in turn allowing the reader to judge them. In other instances I have, through a consistency in the accounts and through sources I have come to trust, settled on a version of events I believe to be true.”

Now my words.

If one is dumb enough to read these words above and then go out to buy the book it's a grand illustration of the mass dumbing down of the American public.

So many salivating to read a bunch of crap speaks volumes about the entertainment/reality TV mentality of the masses. Brainless leeches sucking up spew.

What's even more pitiful is that many will have read the authors words AND STILL GO BUY a work of fiction to be read as truth.

Fire suit on and I don't care.

The agenda is very clear, the goals are obvious.   While I'm still not a Trump fan, it's damn obvious the author, NBC (Chuck Todd specifically) and the media in general are still in Clinton's pocket(s) or, have their back.   Just think, if Charles Manson had had the same unthinking and undying support, he would have never gone to prison and could most likely have been elected to some national office.   Roll Eyes

I liked the one statement where the author said "100% of the Trump administration including his children think he is unfit to be president". Really 100%. This guy is nothing more than a gossip columnist who should be writing for the national enquirer.  This book is pure trash.

That Trump didn't want to be President, a mantra of the left, is mentioned in the book.

So a man that didn't want to be President then colluded with the Ruskies so he could become President. And this collusion was so quick and effective it worked in such a short time frame  Grin

Do they not see how stoopid they are to use the collusion as a talking point?  2funny

Doesn't matter, the anti-Trump (Pro-HRC) forces will unite behind the book and it's author.
IMHO, the best thing President Trump can do is simply ignore it (let his Press Secretary fight that battle) and let them make fools of themselves.

But, I doubt that will happen.

Yup, at least it's helping spiraling businesses like Barnes & Noble get more foot traffic. Like satirist HL Mencken opined, "No one ever went broke underestimating the taste of the American public."

The statement that" Watch what a politician does, not what he says" is very true here in that limited sense.

I really think that Trump does these annoying tweets to keep the media and other arseholes cats trying to catch the laser .  Meanwhile he continues to work on his promises and gets them done while all of these tacos are completely distracted.   If that's the case, he's one smart one.

The whole media is nothing but a giant "View", except for many more persons like Whoopie and Behar or what's her name.

Even if Trump hasn't and doesn't accomplish anything else, his presidency has been a success just for exposing the extreme bias of the media and the seething raw naked hatred the left has for America and Americans.

Trying to remove President Trump from office by nefariously claiming he's mentally unfit? It's been done before: In Soviet Russia, China, and other totalitarian regimes, as Professor Alan Dershowitz explains:

“These psychiatrists who are trying to diagnose [POTUS] without ever having met the man—that’s what they did in Russia…that’s what they did in China, that’s what they did in apartheid South Africa. How DARE liberals—people on the left—try to undo democracy by accusing a president of being mentally ill without any basis.”

It's a coup attempt! Nothing more, nothing less!

The only one who can see him unfit is the Vice President, and then it would go to Congress. (Not going to happen)
