In any case, even if you absolutely hate Obama/Hillary, you can't possibly support everything Trump does (i.e. golfing, twitting, nepotism, etc)?
Canned? Yes. whataboutary? Not really. Actually, I didn't like what Bush 2 did for the Muslims in the texas penal system, so there is that. I really think the real estate crapola was congress' fault by allowing the banks to build that house of cards. Support Trump-he doesn't seem to need my support, but Golfing? Every working person deserves some time off. What they do with that time is irrelevant to me. Tweeting? I think its purpose is to distract the press from what he is actually doing, plus I actually like his lack of political savvy and ability to directly talk to people. Nepotism? He has a lot of family around, but his brother isn't secretary of state. It's not like that is new or not to be expected. I usually am Libertarian, but I currently grade Trump higher for what he's doing for America than any recent President (recent being since Eisenhower). I don't begrudge anyone tie off. But this fool has taken it to atmospheric levels. He's rapidlY approaching ONE HUNDRED DAYS spent at one of his signature properties, which surprisingly happen to be golf courses/ And WE, that includes everyone on this board, ar paying for it. With OUR tax dollars. I don't know the number, why keep track anymore? Everytime he heads south, he loads up AF1 with his entourage. the SS loads up all the equipment needed to keep him safe. Hundreds, hell, maybe thousands of people are being paid so the porcine one can enjoy his time on the links. It gives me a warm fuzzy every time I see that he's enjoying himself on our dime. And he HAS THE BALLS to say Obama played too much golf. This guy has spent over 26% of his FIRST YEAR IN OFFICE AWAY FROM THE OFFICE! Doesn't that bother anyone here? Especially after his line of bullshit during the campaign that he'd be "too busy doing the peoples' work" to play golf. Don't EVER say that he's doing the work of the people. He's in it for one thing only....HIMSELF. Yet he has done more in his first year than obama did in 8.  |

I agree and you can also see how quickly the opposing side jumps on the attack and makes that the subject instead of addressing the real issue. Robert Since you mentioned me by name, I will try to address your question. If Obama abused his power to meddle in the election, I personally think he should be punished for it. I won't give a free pass to him or anyone, because I personally follow the rule of the law and believe that the leaders should set a higher standard. Concerning Hillary, I think she is herself one of the primary reasons for loosing the election: the corruption around the nomination in the democratic party (and undermining of Bernie Sanders) is shameful and triggered lots of democrats to *not* vote at all. Unlike some people, I feel that the good of this great nation should come before any partisanship. Undermining democracy, freedom of speech and press and sowing doubts about the institutions (i.e. fake news, rigged elections, alternative facts, etc) hurts this country in the long run. |

Has saved the military's lives by giving a order to eliminate ISIS by any and all means releasing the military's awesome power to do their job and not restricting them with false regs. This one decision alone has led to the saving of lives cost reductions and pulled the military closer to him to bring the US back on line as a world power. We won the war in Iraq against ISIS and nobody said anything declare Iraq's prime minister. How many US military lives will be saved and how many will be returning home to loved ones. This shows respect for the military, lives and cost. I sure would want my son or daughter returning home. Now if he can stop the false prosecution of our military men we will have a real win. His family if you have not noticed are women doing jobs that would normally be for men. c) Undermine the free press ............... check! He has shown up the media to be bias and with constant unfounded attacks, slanting news stories against the president and not reporting on real events in fact not reporting and not doing the investigative reports that might have stopped the lies at Benghazi and at the FBI when the press was really an unbiased investigative tool for the people. I think the media should have been held on charges since every story was about the win of Hillary and the how Trump doesn't have a chance. This story alone shows the bias and false reporting in the media that even the surveys taken were biased. This fact alone could have swayed an election if the people of the US did not have a dream and goal and were not fedup with the last admins slimy moves and decimating the middle class enough to take a chance with an unknown rather than the admins predicted win. d) Divide the country ......................... check! In the map of the US who voted for Trump we see most of it was for Trump and we hear mostly good reviews about his progress. The riots under Antifa that Obama had in office are pretty much gone. Why I wonder e) Nepotism ...................................... check! I guess you mean family in the White House I guess you consider family support and family being able to run national corporations a bad thing. I consider it a good thing when your family has the talents, commitment and desire to support their father in this situation. With the blistering attacks the spying and criminal acts you have to have someone to count on. I would consider this a big plus for Trump that his family has these talents and abilities. I would also consider that family run businesses have less stealing and more accountability since they have the same goals and trust on each other. They have a lifetime of experience to know and work with a person then you can pretty much know their strengths and weaknesses and put them in the best spot to accomplish a task. For the Trump family to bring this to the table and offer it to the US is more than awesome. We voted for a president and got a dedicated team also with knowledge and experience in world class businesses. What president before has had any business experience or have they made their money at the expense of selling their presidency f) Out-of-marriage relations ............... check! REALLY, I MEAN REALLY? No need to address this g) Lying to the public ......................... check! When and why, specific incident please. and make sure you are not talking about Obama that did not keep any of his promises and Trump is keeping most of his campaign promises h) Collusion with the enemy ............... check! Not proven in fact debunked and a criminal investigation is going on about the false charges against him In fact the Mueller investigation has proved to be bias and partisan in direct contrast to the rules for special counsel much going on behind the scenes and some real criminals are getting very nervous. How about addressing the Mueller investigation with two being let go after findings of collusion bias and a threat that said we have to have an insurance policy i) Racism ........................................ check! Under this admin more has been done to help every color and even other countries,and now with more jobs available we see the stats that more blacks are working. Not a crime and in dispute since his dealings have been many and we would have to examine each deal l) Threatening alliances with key allies ............. check! WE have been paying for those alliances out of yours and mine pockets and funding most programs of course allies would not like the stopping of NAFTA and other programs since Obama already without approval gave 3 million and was slated to give much more. The US provides most of the funding for and most programs the US provides most of the funding with the voting countries having some of the most human right violations in history. Why should we, when these institutions are working for a one world system. If you missed it has threatened and eliminated the payments to terrorists the Palestinian authority the very ones responsible for attacks on the Israelis. Something no admin has been able to do along with the simple statement of establishing the US Embassy in Jerusalem is something that should have been done long ago. He has been addressing the Iran deal and will change that to give Iran some real scrutiny rather than a please do this and give away that the previous admin did. m) Golfing instead of working ............... check! Yup at his golf courses for less money when attacks are flying against him when the economy is making a positive turn upward and he is routing corruption n) Creating opportunity for China increase it's world's influence ... check! China already has financial influence on the world in big ways that you may not know about, they would like to see the US sink and the president is pointing this out and in the case of North Korea actually got the Chinese to accept their responsibility to do something to help the situation and explain their position. They are financially trying to sink the US and we are in competition with them as the largest economy. Not to mention as has been shown to be liars even about being tough against N Korea. NO one knows the financial giveaways that the US has been doing to China better than Trump and he has called it out and targeted it and used it to the US advantage. o) Undermining democracy ...................... check! Really, He is establishing, by elimination of corruption, eliminating past programs and rules and regs, eliminating NAFTA and other programs that would surpass US sovereignty in execution elimination of illegal immigrants and establishing a executive order on the emergency to address human trafficking and corruption in government to bring back the rule of law in the US and exposing the corruption in the Congress and FBI and CIA is establishing the democracy we should have. For without the upholding of laws there can be no democracy Because each man is created equal and is equal under the eyes of the law without that one idea then democracy falls apart and chaos and anarchy rein. p) Twitting matters of State ..................... check! I actually like this one since no other president has been as open and exposed about the office and whats going on. Most stabbed the US in the back and we heard nothing from them. q) Obstruction of Justice .......................... check! I would like to know where and how Trump has inspired other countries such as Germany to stop unchecked immigration in light of the recent killings in that country,. He has gotten a Saudi prince and staff held on charges in the world investigation on child trafficking. He has confounded the ones that would want to have open boarders and allowed for a return to the law in immigration. This memo is the smoking gun in the FISA warrant to prove that Hillary and the DNC illegally obtained a warrant to ease drop on a president elect. The warrant was at first denied and then with the Fusion GPS dossier presented to the FISA judges the warrant was granted. A document paid for by Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee helped fund research that resulted in a now-famous dossier containing allegations about President Trump’s connections to Russia and possible coordination between his campaign and the Kremlin. The FISA judges were not happy when they found out and of course a sitting president could not be uninformed about this going on. Ya know, If I had more time, I would go back and look up the old posts from a few years ago, when Barry was president, and he and his wife would take separate planes to Martha's Vineyard and bring along 30-40 czars, friends and hangers on at the taxpayers expense. Where was your outrage then?
And I guess Bill and Chelsea running the Clinton Crime family and interfering in affairs of state wasn't nepotism?

He's doing the work of the people. Most (Not all!) of his actions are EXACTLY what I hired him to do. So far running for and being president has COST HIM in the neighborhood of a BILLION dollars.
