« on: February 06, 2018, 07:22:18 AM »

I used to think I was just a regular person, but I was born white, which
now, whether I like it or not, makes me a racist.

I am a fiscal and moral conservative, which by today's standards, makes me
a fascist.

I am heterosexual, which according to gay folks, now makes me a homophobe

I am a Christian, which now labels me as an infidel.

I believe in the 2nd Amendment, which now makes me a member of the vast gun
lobby.

I am older than 62 and retired, which makes me useless.

I think and I reason, therefore I doubt much of what the main stream media
tells me, which must make me a reactionary.

I am proud of my heritage and our inclusive American culture, which makes
me a xenophobe.

I value my safety and that of my family and I appreciate the police and the
legal system, which makes me a right-wing extremist.

I believe in hard work, fair play, and fair compensation according to each
individual's merits, which today makes me an anti-socialist.

I acquired a fair education with little or no debt at graduation, which
makes me some kind of an odd underachiever.

I believe in the defense and protection of the homeland for and by all
citizens and I honor those who served in the Armed Forces, which now makes
me a right wing militant.

I believe in the rule of law, especially when it comes to immigration,
which makes me a Latino-hating monster.

Please help me come to terms with the new me… because I'm just not sure who
I am anymore! I would like to thank all my friends for sticking with me
through these seemingly abrupt, new found changes in my life and my
thinking! I just can't imagine or understand what's happened to me so
quickly!

And the funny thing? …it has all just taken place over the last 7 or 8
years!  Hum I can't put my finger on what was going on for the last 8
years????

As if all this nonsense wasn’t enough for me to deal with… I’m not sure
which restroom to go into...................

I Feel your pain, I really do.

I remember as a child my mother asking me,

"If all of your friends jumped off a cliff would you jump with them?"

Just because the whole world is intent on jumping off a cliff into the abyss.

Doesn't mean that we should.

I dont know about Indiana but if you live in Cali or Colorado you can use any bathroom you want as long as you identify with that gender.

Warning.... even if you identify with a dog, I recommend not using your local fire hydrants.  Although that day may not be far off.   crazy2

Wizard I think that makes you a member of a group that has some very anti social behavior but at least it was named by those on the more liberal side to fit and relate to all groups. That group has many members and they all sound like you and that group is called the deplorables, identity crisis is over  Cool

I think this is being revised to include nondiscrimination towards animals also. This includes the Castro district of California.  Wink

With today's signature on SB200, Colorado Gov. Bill Ritter, a Democrat, has eliminated gender-specific restrooms and locker rooms statewide

The state's new "transgender nondiscrimination" bill makes it illegal to deny a person access to public accommodations, including restrooms and locker rooms, based on gender identity or the "perception" of gender identity.

Ritter signed the Expanded Discrimination Prohibitions, approved by the legislature, with this definition:

"'Sexual orientation' means a person's orientation toward heterosexuality, homosexuality, bisexuality, or transgender status or another person's perception thereof."

What are You?

You are like me and millions of others who believe a person should be judged by the strength of their character not the color of their skin.

Some how the world has forgotten those famous words.

I refuse to feel guilty about my color or my upbringing or my sex or my education or lack of.

I am a one of God's creations, I am fallible, sometimes wrong, sometimes ignorant, Just as Human as anyone else.

I was with you entirely until you said, "Sometimes wrong."  I guess I'm in a class by myself.   Sad

Would "Usually wrong" work better? *Ducks and runs*

Evidently being "color blind" towards people now IS racist... We're now officially living in bizarro world where left is right, right is wrong, and up is down.

No, but if it fits for you that would make three distinct groups.   Wink
