the other day when I got the well wishes on my 73d year of life on Our planet. Right near my Birthday 50 years ago-1968-i mustered out of the U S Navy. Looking back-I KNOW I KNOW 20/20 hindsight-I should have done 20 or 30 years. BUT I chose another path. In fact travels on the path I chose are still ongoing. BUT I will say it HAS and Continues to be Interesting!  cooldude Had it Not been for the Motorcycles we ride my chances of meeting any of y'all would have been VERY slim to none.  Undecided While I don't see a lot of y'all as often as I'd like too the electronic clubhouse we share werx to a point!  Roll Eyes I'll leave y'all ta figure the point out amongst yerselves.  2funny RIDE SAFE.

Dennis,

I hit my fiftieth anniversary post-partum from active service last July... Like you, I gave that decision much thought... before and after leaving the Army. No regrets now, though, as I look back and try to fathom what might have happened had I stayed...

Moot point, really, because I didn't, and now I'm downstream from that place and time, and I'm really enjoying my life! Uncle Sam gave me a head-start in life, and set me on my way to this place and time... AND, I'm mighty glad to be here!!! Sam was good to me... even though there were times when I wasn't so sure...

Happy birthday, ol' buddy! I'm happy to see you're still having them, and that you're still musing and pondering the deeper things in life... Healthy mind and body... well, reasonably so anyway... Heck, you're still able to throw a leg over your Valkyrie and scoot on down the road! That should count for a lot... Hope you have many, many more HBDs... and many more intra-cranial sessions, as well...

I always enjoy the posts from both of you and the term the electronic clubhouse not only fits but shows off your unique phraseology.

Hope you both have many more happy travels and thoughts and bring them back to share with the collective to be an inspiration to keep on riding and enjoying things.  cooldude

I do think your forgitted something and that was to slow down  Wink cooldude
