Title: Is Airflow no more? Truck Stack source? Post by: Stick on January 24, 2021, 10:54:27 PM Automatically tried to goto the airflow site and it’s a new name are they gone? Anyone have a new source for the stacks?
Title: Re: Is Airflow no more? Truck Stack source? Post by: Mikerthebiker on January 24, 2021, 11:39:37 PM I got mine through Fort Garry Industries in Edmonton. I’m not sure if they have branches out east. You should be able to source them through big truck supply outfits.

There is also a company called Truck Chrome(?) . Most parts are over the counter. Just know your sizes and let the counter person know you are building something
The last exhaust stacks I bought were from Mack truck. da prez Title: Re: Is Airflow no more? Truck Stack source? Post by: Stick on January 26, 2021, 07:14:33 AM So the big question is it 4” ID or OD I need
Title: Re: Is Airflow no more? Truck Stack source? Post by: MarkT on January 26, 2021, 10:58:03 AM So the big question is it 4” ID or OD I need Industry standard for tubes is designation is OD. For these truck stacks, they are all 16gauge (0.060") unless they specify otherwise. That results in an ID that will fit snugly over your OEM muffler can. On your muffler cans, remove the welded-on locator clips and grind down the one spot weld aligned with the mount bracket, that's not already ground flush. Title: Re: Is Airflow no more? Truck Stack source? Post by: Jess from VA on January 26, 2021, 11:12:54 AM In answer to the original question, I think they are gone (I could not find them on several past searches).
They may have merged with someone, but I don't know who, and I miss their old website with pages just for Valkyrie. Just like I miss the old HDL. Title: Re: Is Airflow no more? Truck Stack source? Post by: MarkT on January 26, 2021, 11:32:27 AM Airflow was bought by Six Roblees, a company right nearby. They did not pick up the exhaust stack line. You will need to source your stacks elsewhere. I don't sell them w/o an exhaust system build anymore. Not worth the hassle to me - I can cover the minimal markup available in the stacks with an exhaust build but otherwise by itself the stacks line is a "loss leader" for me.

Post by: old2soon on January 26, 2021, 01:19:48 PM Most of the LARGER truck stops in America have a largish chrome section with stacks and all the bright work one could need. License plate frames nuts bolts etc etc. And generally a largish selection of lighting. Hope this helps ya. RIDE SAFE.
Title: Re: Is Airflow no more? Truck Stack source? Post by: Bighead on January 26, 2021, 05:48:39 PM I got a brand new set of airflo stacks that I was gonna put on my Interstate but wanted some Grumpy Tips and Bill got sick. Then sold the Interstate :-\ I also have an extra set of unmolested exhaust that I will probably glass pack and use the stacks with them. Sure wish Bill was still around he was a great guy and did top notch work.

Working on a couple of different profiles. Title: Re: Is Airflow no more? Truck Stack source? Post by: Stick on February 24, 2021, 12:13:12 PM Man I am really having trouble sourcing material
Everything I find is 4” OD or They say ID but it’s only an expanded end on a 4” OD pipe. Title: Re: Is Airflow no more? Truck Stack source? Post by: Stick on March 10, 2021, 06:42:39 PM Could anyone help with a source? Or happen to have a set of 18” extensions sq cut
Title: Re: Is Airflow no more? Truck Stack source? Post by: MarkT on March 11, 2021, 10:33:43 AM As I said above industry standard for stacks is, measurements are OD. 4" OD with standard 16ga steel tubing fits over Valkyrie muffler cans snugly as they should. If you are fitting stacks to Valk pipes you have found what you need. Not that I would know I have only been building over 1500 custom Valkyrie exhausts commercially using truck stacks for 22 years.
