Seven inches on the ground now, still coming down.  I'm just glad that the Valk is not ready to ride as yet.  I pulled the alternator to check brushes, they were ok but two of the drive dampeners were broken.  Parts on the way to my door.  See you in Roanoke if it stops snowing by then...

I feel for you Bob, we  have had riding weather in the last month ( and have rode a bunch).  That is in between the storms that have hit us.

But the weather machine keeps sending us storms (another one to hit us on Thursday), which means you will be getting some more in a few days.

I heard a weatherman yesterday, I think it was the Weather Channel the wife is so fond of putting on, calling what is happening to our weather a result of the North Atlantic Oscillation.  Every year these folks come up with a new to me term, quite clever of them, but it always means the same. You all are getting screwed.   He did say next week it would be lifting.  We shall see.  Normally by now we are in moderate to good weather riding conditions, only having to dodge rain.  This morning was white out conditions at the plant built our bikes.

not so sure I want either in april, but almost want 7 inches of snow up northern WI vs. the icy pellets/sleet we got freezing up the roads overnight.  Wife slipped and had to get checked out while entering her work glare ice on sidewalk right in front of entrance.  I guess she found out other employees have gotten hurt as well there in that area.  Her wrist is badly sprained dr said but if still hurts 3 weeks from now they will do xrays.  Tonight she is complaining of her shoulder hurting now, the one she fell on as well as her wrist.

Between shelling out 1300 for new garage door,  500 for comp on deer collision both in March, and now into early April wife falling down getting hurt from fricking snow,  I think we hit the old saying 'things happens in 3''s'   and looking forward to getting cycles out hopefully next weekend since still this coming weekend looks too cold and crappy out.

Had 2 feet Wednesday and took the RMK out for an awesome ride! Still amazed at what a 600cc motor can do when pushing a 155"x2.5" rubber conveyor belt around! Another foot for us today! Ice fishing tomorrow. Id rather have a "harsh" spring than a long, useless, wet/muddy one.
