Does wearing a pink shirt have some secret code meaning ? I bought one at Penney’s on discount a couple years ago. I forgot about it. I’m going to Walmart in a minute wearing it. Will I be attracting unwanted attention from 24 year old young women ? Do I need to carry ?

Besides all the crazy stuff people otherwise wear to Walmart (see People of Walmart website), and cross dressers is part of that, I thought wearing pink was principally a thing supporting finding the cure for women's breast cancer. Wasn't that the whole thing with the college and pro teams wearing pink stuff? I don't keep up with this. I don't wear pink anything, or red, or pastel, or much of anything bright. My goal is never to make a statement or stand out or be an easy target. I do have a couple great Hawaiian tropical party shirts (but can't remember my last party). This is largely dependent on how you choose to accessorize. The code does not work unless you accessorize. As I understand it, shoes are the key. Accents such as glitter and sequins punctuate the secret code. I'm sure you can find more about it on the internet. But you need the password and it is in the secret code. |

Yes, pink was originally for breast cancer. Here in Canada we also have an anti-bulling day. https://www.pinkshirtday.ca/I remember wearing my dads old, too small for him, dress shirts in middle school (Jr High School). One was a light pink shirt. No one ever bothered me. I was not overly large, tall, yes. No gang protecting me. My friends never bothered me about it either, other than being dressed like an old man. |
