Have a trip coming up to Colorado and then to North Carolina before home.
Would love to be able to take some movies and pictures along the way.
What kind of cameras have any of you found to use?
Would like to be able to operate it with out too much trouble while
going down the road.
OH, and something an elderly gentleman can operate without too
much to comprehend .

I have had several GoPros over the years. I now have The GoPro Hero 4 Session:

https://www.amazon.com/GoPro-CHDHS-102-HERO-Session/dp/B01C80O0ZU/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1526758475&sr=8-2&keywords=gopro+sessions

There's a more expensive Hero 5 Session that is 10 megapixels compared to the 8 megapixel 4.

The little cube-like Sessions are simple to work, easy to see when it is on or off, and doesn't
need to go in a cover to make it rain-proof...

The GoPros get the job done, but they're not as good as new Iphones and stuff like that.
