I felt exceptionally good yesterday morning. Really expected to see a dramatic increase in platelets. So I donated the blood sample then got a coffee and proceeded to the cancer ward. That’s so hard just walking in there. So, results are pending so I stand there talking to the nurses until the numbers post.

Last week the platelets were 19K. That’s low but moving in the right direction. I was hoping for 50K. Finally the numbers posted, everything dead on normal except ( Of course) the platelets.  They went DOWN from last week from 19 to 8.

It’s not looking good for INZANE. I’ll get another round of chemo right at the end of the month. The post treatment blood test will be 6 June ( the day before the deadline to cancel the hotel) and two days before we leave.

If it’s good I ride. If it’s bad I cancel.  Undecided

I'm pulling for you too Jeff.  And not just for Inzane (though that would be great).

Why no platelet transfusion?

Fingers crossed for you to make InZane... take the cage if necessary.

No platelets because I have more signs (petechai) the infused platelets only help for a couple days and it's not without risk.
