So yesterday when I got on my bike the front end sank. Now when I hit the front brake the front end doesn't drive down.

Please help we have a Father's Day weekend ride this weekend.  Cry

Haven’t experience that issue yet. I had a dealer replace my lowers once and they got something in wrong and I could hit a bump or get on the brakes hard and the forks would bottom out hard. Put heavy duty progressive front springs in by someone who knew what they were doing and all has been fine since.

Does that mean that the front suspension is fully collapsed, or that it's at normal height and is seized?   Unless there is something external preventing the suspension from working properly, like the forks are twisted or bent, you're looking at disassembly to find the problem.  Broken spring, maybe?

Did you hit a bump particularly hard?  Did you transport the bike on a trailer with the forks fully turned and the front wheel up against something solid?

Probably need some more information like details on what was done recently or repaired on the forks, oil change, seals etc.

Need more info. How many miles have you ridden this bike. When did this change from OK to bottoming out. Was the front end worked on lately?

What reaction do you get with front brake locked and a back and forth motion?

Have you had the front tire off lately?

I've had a slow leak on the right side. Nothing major just a bit of oil here and there. All was good until the other day and the front end sunk noticeably.  When rolling bike and pulling front brake it doesn't compress much nor does it pop back up like it used too.

My guess is the seals need to be replaced. I will be doing that soon and getting progressive springs.

Any advice or words of wisdom is always accepted.

Thank you all in advance and thank you to those that replied previously.

if you suspect it has been run low on oil it may pay to replace the bushes too

They are not that expensive Smiley

Dan Meyer discussed this at Inzane tech session. Replenish oil, must be too low. The bike has inverted suspension and one of the forks must be too low. If leak started soon after a previous service bushings may have been misplaced in forks. Use only Honda certified parts, no off market pRts because bushings may not fit into seals. Dan witnessed this in the tech session.

Well well well..... Did I ever miss my Valk this weekend. Rode little over  500 miles this weekend on a Vstar 1100 2-up. I am still sore. It was like driving a Pinto when you own a Cadillac.

The Vstar is my brother-in-laws and it was nice of him to let me ride it as we do our annual Father's Day ride.

My dad passed 8 years ago today on his Birthday.

The Vstar is in my garage to ride until I get my bike fixed. I will be getting my bike fixed asap.

Hard pass on riding that bike again.

Thank you all that have replied much needed and great information.
