I went on Mark's (3fan) ride yesterday, plenty of dirt road mileage  cooldude ... it was
great to watch 15 Valkyries line up for their runs at the hills, everyone was a good
rider...

Mike, after reflecting on our little adventure I’m wondering if Mark had a plan to do away with us northern liberals. First he took us to see the grave sites of some historic Southern Generals, then he promptly tried to get us lost out in moonshiner country.  Grin
I think the “dirt biking” has been the highlight of the rides to date.  cooldude (everyone was a good rider)  cooldude

Not just some Southern General, but THE Southeren General, Robert E. Lee!

This is a sculpture of him napping, above his final resting place.

Stop along the way.

Water fall along the ride.

Ripped off the interweb Smiley
"Once ranked by Thomas Jefferson as one of the most impressive and sublime works of nature in Virginia, Falling Spring Falls is a stunning 80-ft waterfall located on in Alleghany County, just five miles north of Covington, VA. Though there is a scenic overlook from Route 220, hike the rugged terrain from the bottom for the full experience."

On Tuesday,, Mark (3fan4life), Craig (Newvalker) and l had a great ride.  While having lunch we ran into a relative of Willows.  Nice guy.

I want to thank Mark (again) for maybe the best days' ride and history lesson I ever had.   cooldude

I could easily have done without the 7 (or was it 30) miles of dirt washboard road, but everyone lived.

I was right behind Mark when we had to go up that steep muddy hill.  He slowed down, and I'm yelling, no go faster man, faster.    Valks are not motocrossers, but they'll do in a pinch.

I guess I'm the only one who saw the naked lady down in that creek bed.  Best sex I've had in some time.  Grin

Part of old Stonewall is up in the Wilderness battlefield.

what does Robert Lee and Smokin Joe have in common?

Judging by that pic him laying there,  both do not like wearing shoes much.... 2funny
