Colorado Springs would be nice.  Flew in there last August to buy my 2009 Goldwing and drove it back to Virginia.  Did not get to see enough of that pretty area in the 2 days i was there.

BTW Montrose CO has been GZ for other ride-ins in the past for the VOA.  Has the right hotel support, fabulous rides in the San Juan mountains, has not been GZ for the VRCC.

Montrose does not really have "the right hotel support."  We require a hotel with 150 to 200 rooms and a banquet facility that will seat 300-400.  If Montrose has that, I haven't found it.
We have a group leaving Tennessee on the 27th this month one of our stops is in Montrose , Colorado.

LOL!  Yes, he does.  But they're both too old to do much more than growl.

Winter Springs, FL - Occasionally...

how about Flagstaff AZ, New Mexico, or Texas Hill country?

Those places (Especially the Texas Hill Country) would be excellent......... in October...

In June/July? Not so much.

Flagstaff is @ ~ 7000 ft elevation, is it still unbearably hot there in June?  The times I was there it was pleasant, but I don't recall if I were there in June.

I was mainly speaking to the Texas Hill Country... The other two are probably not too bad for the location, although there'd be a lotta folks not necessarily used to riding through super hot areas riding through super hot areas to get to 'em.

Alas... ain't it so... sigh. Love all those areas, myself, but NOT in the summertime!!! Serk nailed it...

Saw a reference in another posting to the Natchez Trace Parkway.  Has that area ever been considered as a site?  The pictures look fantastic.  The thoughts of no commercial traffic and scenic, safe, thruway riding seem appealing.

Speed limits strictly enforced and it became boring to me after a few hours.  Especially at 40 and 50mph.  Got great mileage, though.

There are at least a couple of things in the Black Hills that I didn't get to see because of the rain we had later in the week of InZane XV, so I would be up for it, and because it's closer to me I'd be far more likely to attend than if it were east of the Missouri River or south of Wyoming.

Spearfish was great... I would go again if Inzane were held there. Personally would prefer somewhere I haven't been before or been to in a while however, but really it's impossible to get any type of consensuous from such a large and regionally diverse group. Distance is not the determining factor for me, but rather the facility itself (Morgantown was great where there was a common area where many of the bikes could be parked which afforded a general meeting, visiting/bs'ing/sharing a drink area); the weather (preferably under 100°); and of course interesting roads to ride.
Any location chosen, there's going to be attendees who have to ride long distances, ride through inclement weather, take a little more time off work or whatever. Just find a decent location with the main features for the event itself checked off and members will show up... for those who can't make it for reasons above, there will be others that perhaps can... the ride to and from is all part of the adventure and appeal of these events as far as I'm concerned.
