Obviously it was those dastardly Russian spies that hacked into his phone and forged the text messages!

The Russian agents involved have been identified by a deep undercover Canadian special agent known as Bullwinkle J. Moose.

I watched for about 45 minutes and had to turn it off when one of the azzclowns with a D after his name called the President the "alleged Commander In Chief". Heading towards civil war.

For anyone that doesn't know it, the safest answer when under oath (and you can't tell the truth without incriminating yourself), is........ I can't remember.

It's pretty much impossible to prove what someone can or can't remember (and get them for perjury).

We've heard it before.   And we'll hear it again.

Clinton didn't say he couldn't remember, he said it wasn't sex (blow jobs apparently aren't sex, they are just physical therapy).  They got him for obstruction and perjury (in the House, not the Senate).

Yup, runs in the family considering how much Hillary can't remember. I hope the current President does the same thing, just for the comic relief.

It all depends on what the meaning of, is, is.

Yes, we (some of us) are truly sending low brains pit bulls to sit in Congress, and calling them effective every time they bite someone we don't like. Maxine Waters, and Frederica Wilson come to mind. I simply couldn't watch anymore. Republicans came up and asked pointed questions on the subject at hand, and Democrats came up to apologize for the Republicans' questions and then generally vent against the horrid, "not qualified to be President" President.

So let me see if I understood... GOP is frying Strok because he doesn't like Trump and saying that because of this he miscarried the investigation and therefore any wrongdoing by Trump and his affiliates should be forgotten as also the results of the Mueller investigation canned because the FBI was working to help Hillary and stop Trump from being elected?

Sorry, but you got to be living in another planet to buy this bullshit.

First it ignores the whole system of balance and checks that FBI uses as a protocol.

Next, it doesn't make any sense.

If that was the plan, the 'shadow government' FBI could just have leaked the never ending contacts of Trump's affiliates with Russians (i.e. his campaign coordinator + son + son-in-law as an example) to the press *before* the election. That would do some serious damage.

Instead they kept the whole thing in secret until way past the election.

For people living in an 'alternative reality', a quote from his written statement: "In the summer of 2016, I was one of a handful of people who knew the details of Russian election interference and its possible connections with members of the Trump campaign. This information had the potential to derail, and quite possibly, defeat Mr. Trump. But the thought of exposing that information never crossed my mind.".

Quite the opposite: a few days before the election, James Comey came to the public to say that Hillary was still under investigation. That was a slum dunk to help Trump to say the least.

And guess who wrote the initial draft of the letter that Comey sent to the congress to inform them about the new emails? Answer: Strzok.

I watched it live and I'm quite disappointed with both the poor manners of the Republicans (i.e. there was a Bozo that wouldn't allow Strzok to answer his own questions) and the stupidity of some Democrats babbling about how Strzkok deserved a purple heart.

Well, let's walk this Trump investigation to the genesis of the Criminality. There is none. In Watergate, you could walk it back to the break in at the Watergate hotel and DNC office there.

So what we have is a Special Counsel investigating accusations made by political adversaries because the Candidate won an election.
In Strok, we have a high level FBI guy investigating the President who has displayed blatant personal bias against him. The evidence is clear on that point. Even if he feels he was above his bias and did his job professionally, he obviously allowed his personal bias to be known within the work place which could only bias his staff and peers.

If this is indeed about the Russians "meddling" in our Sacred Elections, then where is the investigation of Ted Cruz's campaign, Bernie Sander's campaign, Hillary's campaign, or Jeb's campaign?

I want to know and see the criminality that was the genesis of all this. I want to see a Cause and Effect set of evidence of what the Russians did and were able to achieve and how it specifically helped Trump. None has been presented.

The Russians didn't hack the voting machines, the Russians didn't commit voter fraud, (according to the Democrats, there was none at all), the Russians didn't bribe the Electoral College.

Nothing should be "forgotten". No one is asking that. Just asking for evidence and proof of what Trump is being accused of and how it all worked.

First there was no wrong doing by Trump a senate investigation said so and Mueller has found nothing.

I guess an investigator that is having an affair with another investigator on a team to see if there was any wrong doing by Trump being biased towards Trump so much so to have an insurance policy if he won to bring him down and cried when Trump won. They are the ones that were working the Hillary investigation and concluded there was no reason for prosecution and coached Comey on what to report and what words to use. The fact that  documented cases of classified information was found in Hillary's server and messages. They lied under oath and so did Comey but there is nothing to see here just move on.

Really there is a problem here.

They are very scared since the information and proof of what they have been up to is already obtained and now it is being entered in court.

Comey Directed Strzok To Focus On Trump-Russia Over Hillary Investigation — ‘Our Top Priority’

NYT: Rosenstein asks prosecutors to help review Kavanaugh documents

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein has asked the offices of all 93 U.S. attorneys to each provide up to three federal prosecutors to assist the Justice Department in reviewing government records of President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, the New York Times reports, citing a letter it obtained.

Why it matters: The Times notes that this is an unusual move because department attorneys are not typically responsible for carrying out such a task. "The production of documents could slow down a confirmation hearing that has already shaped up as a sharp partisan battle. Democratic lawmakers say they want to inspect all of Judge Kavanaugh’s documents, including his staff work and over 300 opinions he has issued as a judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit," the report notes.

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes (R-CA) on Monday referred ten current and former U.S. officials to the House Judiciary and Oversight & Government Reform Committees’ joint task force, as it investigates potential DOJ and FBI wrongdoing related to the Trump-Russia probe.

A stunning revelation buried deep inside Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s report on the FBI’s Hillary Clinton email investigation suggests the controversial June 2016 tarmac meeting between then Attorney General Loretta Lynch and former President Bill Clinton was coordinated.

If true, it blows a hole in the narrative Lynch and Clinton have maintained for two years. Lynch claimed the “social” meeting was spontaneous and the two discussed grandchildren.

The report states that the DOJ department of public affairs supervisor traveling with Lynch told internal DOJ investigators that Clinton’s Secret Service detail contacted Lynch’s security detail ahead of time to arrange the meeting.

Clinton’s plane was parked next to Lynch’s, the report revealed, or about just 20 to 30 yards away.

What kind of organization assigns the same personal to two different investigations of two opposing political parties?

Seems like  no-brainer that you would assign separate independent teams.

Seems to me there was a failure of management (by accident or on purpose) to properly oversee the assignment of personnel.

Amateur mistake or purposely stupid? I really expected better in either case.

The story here is not Strzok but Mueller.  Mueller hired Strzok knowing about the emails but didn't drop him until it became public knowledge.   The only thing the Strzok interrogation is doing is displaying the impotence of Congress.

As I understand it they were text messages not emails between he and his girlfriend working for the FBI. When the Inspector General discovered them and told Mueller, he was taken off the Special Counsel case. The girlfriend had already left. It was later on the media found out about it.

That's what I thought but I read something the other day that Mueller had been made aware of them when he brought Strzok on board.  In this case, whether they were texts or emails is kind of a distinction without a difference.

Agree on the second point, highly doubtful on the first. (Not that you read it, but that it happened)

I watched some of the testomony yesterday. Strzok said multiple time he didn't remember sending those texts. Said it was late night when he sent them. Hmmm. Sounds like he is using the Roseanne Barr defence. I'm surprised he didn't say he was under the influence of ambian.

The times that I watched the dems seamed to be more interested in protecting Strzok then questioning him. If Strzok was a conservative with bias towards a Democrat they would be all over him like a cheep suit. You got to ask yourself. What are the democrats trying to hide?

I wouldn't worry so much about Russian election scandals, as I do Hillary selling 20% of the US uranium to Russia! Or the bogus Iran nuke deal. These are deals that undermine the security of the US!

Just an outside perspective:
I have been watching this whole "Political Soap Opera" since President Trump announced way back in mid 2015...watched him steam roll 16 others...watched the obvious collusion between the MSM and Hillary...and the ultimate success of President Trump. What really stuck out in my mind was the day Comey gave Hillary a Free Pass for all her years of Corrupt Transgressions...Destroyed Cells Phones, Bleached Emails, Clinton Foundation Slush Fund, Uranium One, Deposing Qaddafi, Falsely Blaming The YouTube Video for the Benghazi Attack, The Hillary Funded DNC Destruction of Bernie Sanders...Etc. Etc. Etc.
And now to see the Democrats siding with AND shielding Peter Strozk...you have to be Delusional to believe one damn word that comes out of his mouth, BUT...Delusional They Are.
I just had some relatives from The Bay Area California stay with us for a family reunion function and believe me, it was hard to bite my tongue when hearing them bash and trash Trump...I did however "carefully soft pedal" some of my perspectives, with my wife looking on nervously  Grin

Sounds bout right to me. AND I might ad ALL these longtime Entrenched political types may/might be pissin and crappin their dr dentons when they FINALLY realize they could very well be next. They did NOT git to stay around as long as they do/did with out some "dirty stuff" goin on and they did NOT amass fortunes by bein white as the driven snow. Fortunes B T W us mere mortals can only fantasize about. He scares them-Trump do-because he's stated repeatedly he is NOT a politician and he's NOT afraid to call everything and anything into question. Whole deal reminds me of turnin on dat kitchen light and watchin the rooster roaches scurrying about. RIDE SAFE.

Thank you for your comment on this.

What I would like to know, and what I have been asking all along, is why is this so painfully obvious to a non-US citizen, but some US voters seem to accept it as part of their rose-colored out look on life in the USofA.  These folks are criminals, and deserve to be tried, convicted and punished severely for their treason.

But she remembers doing the serpentine with Peter Falk and Jack Lemon to avoid enemy fire.   2funny

No, not because he doesn't like Trump.  Because he sent a text to another FBI employee that "We'll stop it".  "It" meaning Trump's Presidency.  Because you failed to see, everything you wrote below is negated.  Forget about the incendiary posts about rednecks and Trump supporters which means he despises half the people he works for and who pays him.

If Hillary had won you would not all be discussing this. And naturally Strocz was 1,000,000. % sure she had the election in the bag. So did not mind using his work phone to text such nice messages about f...g Trump.  Strocz Out.

50,000 texts in a year.  That's 140/day if he never took a day off.  Day off, that's funny...... when did he have time to work?
