I am truly amazed, especially when he talks about chickens on his lap on a bus ride.

I look and wonder all the more what qualifications did this man have to run the country. He talks fondly about his life in Kenya and his experiences that are so much different than those here in the US. He also talks about Kenya and says their fathers to not have to go and serve a foreign power is freedom in Kenya.

I am just blown away by this and wonder if this had come out before if he would have been president. I also wonder why we have the highest office in our country and have little to no qualifications to this office. Shouldn't we know more about the people than corporations do about their CEO's and CFO's

That would be the context that you were looking for. He also didn't say my family was there or my sister lived there all would indicate that the first president from Kenya would be more accurately thought of as him coming from there and living there.

The riding with chickens was in his trip at 27, along with his basic bath and slow train & bus trip.... he also states his father left the country for an education.
