I know you guy's are going to beat my a$$ on this, but. At 1:08 in the video he states the 1st time he visited there he was 27 years old, and he also stated he got to meet the sister he had never seen before Alma, and got to know her. I know he said he was the first sitting President from Kenya, but I think he was referring to his heritage. I guess we can all draw our own conclusions , and take it however we want too.

I caught that, too. But out of context responses are a pretty common thing. It keeps the love alive.

So I am a little amazed that you listened close enough to hear that, but didn't hear how he rode the bus with chickens or the other experiences he had living there. That would be the context that you were looking for. He also didn't say my family was there or my sister lived there all would indicate that the first president from Kenya would be more accurately thought of as him coming from there and living there.
I'm a little amazed that you didn't listen close enough to hear the first part. And what the heck does riding with the chickens have to do with anything? John
