Yesterday we had some spotty rain activity-we are WAY behind on the moisture-and when the radar looked good bout 1445 I geared up and rolled around 1515. It was maybe 74 degrees F when I went K S U and at one point my handle bar mounted temp guesser was showing 67 in the hills. Basically stayed with U S 60 west and got to Seymour Mo. where after bout 52 miles time to stretch the bones and muscles. Besides the needed mind cleanse that Phatt Ghurl provides I needed to run the fuel down to make pulling the tank a bit not so difficult!  Grin So near on 104 miles and DAMN duz I feel ever so much BETTA!  cooldude But the blankety blank blank heat IS back fer a week and a half if not more!  Lips Sealed Takin Dirty dans advice on doin it WHEN I can WHILE I can!  cooldude I Not only Thank GOD for being a Rider I am Thankful to have Something-Well The BEST power cruiser Ever Built-Something to Ride!  coolsmiley Makes That ridin thang ever so much easier when ya gotz sunpin ta throw yer leg over!  Roll Eyes RIDE SAFE.

O2S,

Only you can 'write with an accent' so eloquently! More than your style, though, the 'meat' of your story rings true and most familiar to all of us who read your prose... Thanks for telling your story... and for sharing your ride and reactions to it! Glad you're still able, willing, and have the correct tool for the task!!!

Grin The funny thing is he doesn't have near the accent in real life. At least as I recall. Dennis, I too am glad you are getting back at it. I think we should start planning an oxygen relay layout for '19 Inzane.  cooldude

Rob granted-I wuz NOT born in the South BUT I have lived in the South most of the 40 years since I left Illinois. I wuz up at Ross and Bonnie's place from before Christmas 17 til 4 Feb 18 house and dog sittin. I have a hard time understandin most folks up thetaway now as ta be almost comical. I also understand a deep southern drawl lots easier than a new England twang or some one from new yawk city or like I used ta have a Midwest thing. I've asked more than one person to slow their speech down so as fer me to unnerstan zackly What they wuz asayin!  2funny While I think it a LOT and very rarely say it out loud been known ta think it a LOT-well bless your or their heart. It's a Southern thang-look it up!  Grin RIDE SAFE.
