I'm old and fat and married  smitten , so this post is about riding my motorcycle
on some roads in my neighborhood I call the three sisters.

I headed out one of the numerous ways to get out there, down one of the first
roads I went down when I started exploring the neighborhood on the 1500 ten
years or so ago...

As the years went by, the old house disappeared, burned if I'm not mistaken. Planted
pines grew up all through there on both sides of the road. Today when I went by, that
area is cleared again...

I got to the first sister and confronted my only deer...

From there out onto the Cleveland Pike...

Down the third sister, Unity Church Road (I rode the 2nd sister on the way home  cooldude )

After that Unity Church dumps out onto 76. 76 crosses the Chattooga River of Dueling Banjos
fame and is the main road to Clayton Ga.

I didn't go that far, though, I turned off down Brasstown Road and went a couple
of miles down this valley...

... until I got to the Brasstown Gathering Place (AKA - the Brasstown Rib Eating Place)

-Mike "may everyone's neighborhood be filled with curvy little roads in the Blue Ridge foothills...  cooldude "

Beautiful country!  We've got tar snakes and twisties in common.  Looks like a good day spent.

If you have to confront a deer, that's the way to do it.  Well before confront becomes confrontation!

Yeah, they tar snaked the snot out of hwy 76 since I was there last... it was hot, though,
and I didn't feel the snakes in the turns...

As for the deer, I was hoping for much better pictures. This camera I'm using now (my now
two year old dog chewed up the last one  Roll Eyes ) has no resolution. Everything I come
upon that I look forward to seeing the picture of later is like a little dot off in the distance.
In real life that deer seemed right in front of me.

I haven't ridden enough roads in Texas to agree or disagree but, I can say those Three (Twisted) Sisters were fun and challenging to ride.   Enjoyed them as much as the Dragon's Tail if not more.   Just a lot of flat straight road in Texas to get to them....

The Texas people talk about The Three Sisters sometimes. I was probably thinking
about that back whenever I started thinking of these three roads as "the three sisters"...
three "roads worth riding" that are like ladder rungs to two other roads that are
like the stringers...

I took Joe and Wimp and Stanley Steamer down these roads once, Joe cussed our
governor for the road surface conditions...

Having lived most of my life in the west, when I saw the title, I thought that you were referring to something I knew.   there is a chunk of  I-80 in Wyoming between Rock Springs and Evanston that is called the 'Three Sisters', not a bad section this time of year, but during the winter can be just plain bad. Lots of truckers spend time there during snow storms.   Then in Oregon, there are the "Three Sisters", which are mountain tops near Bend on the Cascade range.  Beautiful snow capped mountains even this time of year.  No roads go up to them.

Would like your Three Sisters better for riding.

Only because she was more worried about the Confederate flag coming down than the roads in her state.
