Hi Everyone,

I will be riding my 200 Interstate  down to the Wing Ding rally in Knoxville at the end of this month and I am looking for some good rides to do.  One ride I would like to take is to the top of Bell Mountain.  Any input for this ride or others would be greatly appreciated.  Good places to eat and stop at would also be a big help.

Thanks
The Bull

If you're in Knoxville you might as well ride The Dragon just to say that you have.

Hit it early morning on a weekday.

Stay far away from it on the weekend.

There are plenty of good roads in tht area.

Hopefully, Smokin' Joe or one of the other "Cool Kids" will chime in.

I think it only takes an hour and a half to get to the Deal's Gap store from
Knoxville. You can jump on 28 there and ride it all the way the South
Carolina if you want, it is a good motorcycle road the whole way.

You could ride 28 just to Franklin, and then find (use google maps or
something) Wayah road and make your way back to near Andrews.

There's several ways to get back to Knoxville from Andrews, back through
The Dragon, or if you want a longer ride, down past Murphy where you
can pick up 294 and 68 to find yourself on the backside of the Cherohala...

Highway 209 "The Rattler"  starting in Hot Springs NC (Peel of on Hwy 63 toward Ashville NC if you want mass amounts of steep downhill switchback.)

To the North East of Knoxville near Rogersville TN are Highways 66, 63, 33, 31 all that offer a great twisty ride.

Highways 116/62/330 near Oliver Springs TN form the "Devils Triangle" Also a great ride and probably the closest to the Knoxville area

I may even ride my Wing over and check out the festivities.

I can't comment on Bell Mtn., but I can throw ya down a good route gettin' there cooldude Outta Tellico Plains, Tn. 68 S. thru Ducktown, Tn. to 60 S. outta McCaysville, Ga. thru Morgantown & Suches (one of our favs!) ya caint miss... http://www.twowheelsonly.com/  Then I'd stay on 60 S. to 19 & head E. thru Turners Corner... http://www.turnerscornergeneralstore.com/ 129 N. up Blood Mtn. past Vogel State Park... https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g34775-d558465-Reviews-Vogel_State_Park-Blairsville_Georgia.html to 180 headed E. past Brasstown Bald.
If you're like me & it's about the roads more than the destination, this will get ya where ya wanna go, & ya wont be disappointed Cool. Enjoy the roll Grin

Yeah, you're right, that is better! And if you're goin' that close to Helen, Ga. then Anna Ruby Falls in Unicoi State Park is outstanding! https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g35004-d1191816-Reviews-Anna_Ruby_Falls-Helen_Georgia.html
Also add 360 on the front end outta Vonore, Tn. to Tellico Plains Wink
