Was at Honda of Houston this morning on Hyway 290 in Houston. Had several pretty Goldwing there at around $23,000-$24,000. However there was a beautiful blue Goldwing there priced at $27,340. Didn't realize Goldwings got that expensive. They also had a big crotch rocket there priced at $19,000+......didn't know they got that expensive either.

Been looking at them for some time now. My Wife wants one for her next bike. Her 2005 VTX, which she loves, is getting more expensive to upkeep.
She liked the F6B, but no reverse. Same deal for the GoldWing that doesn’t have the trunk.
Once you start loading up the options they approach $30k pretty fast.
I wonder how much our original Valkyries would cost today...probably at least $20k or there about.
Hard to justify a new one at the current prices.

New Goldwing’s are very high in the first year. Lots of really nice 2-6 year old used ones for sale with low miles. I bought a Level 4 2009 last fall and several friends have bought newer Wings in this Buyers market at Great prices. Dan

You can’t take it with you. Don’t worry, be happy.

Bought a new 17 for $17K. It was the base model with the blue/black paint. Love it, but still miss the Valk.

With all the hold overs available It's most likely THE reason my Honda dealer in West Plains Mo. does NOT carry G Ws. You can order them but they ain't on the floor. What the dlr IS doing on the other hand is getting a LOT of used H/Ds at auction and moving a Bunch of them. And they keep quite a few Can Ams on the floor also. Not too long ago G/Ws were a bit north of 30 G and some H/Ds were flirtin with cursed near 50 G. Looked at a couple Can Ams that weren't THAT far from 30 G. Course you want a New cage or a New pick up-well you need Really DEEP pockets. RIDE SAFE.

You my friend got a smokin deal......and BTW I still have my valk Thanks! I had to ship it to me which cost $800, but was still well worth it. Local dealership looked into it hoping they could come close; they figured there must be some hidden fees. After talking with the dealership and trying to work some numbers, they came back and said,"Man, they're $5,500 below our invoice. Please buy the bike from CA. We can't come close!"

My local guy that I have bought 5 bikes from over the years told me the same thing. Said I would love to sell you another bike but I cant come close to that price. Go buy it. So I did.

not speaking of near new goldwings, but the ones 10K and under in my price range are well worth it indeed. Most even around that 8K mark for say a 2005 goldwing with say 30-40K miles nicley equipped.
Unless one really drives their bike say 8K or more miles per year which is almost impossible in the northern states with winter/rain 1/3rd of the year, I see no real reason to get a new or near new one for say 15K on up being OVER double the price of a slightly older one (yes is around 10 years older) with lower mileage..
Been pricing out a 2014 or 2015 honda ctx700 for a cruiser commuter and new are around 6500, but have seen several in that 4K, even one at 3600 that sold ASAP, with under 5000 miles on them worth buying. I can deal with 5000 miles a few years old to save 2500-3000 bucks...

I live north of you and for the last 20 I have put on over 10,000 miles a year so it's not impossible. I just sold my 2015 NC700X with 2900 miles on for $3600 (unfortunately that's wthey a worth).

One of the reasons I bought my 14 Valk was it has all the wing tech and none of the price. 9K for essentially a wing drive train was well worth it.
