People can be sentenced to death in Colorado, but no one has been executed in many years; there may be 8 or 10 on death row. Most capital murderers are sentenced to life in the penitentiary without the possibility of parole. A co-worker of mine was shot dead by his wife of three months under the guise of a hunting accident back in 1995. The murderess was exposed and is now in Canon City for the remainder of her worthless life. That is probably what this guy will get, three life sentences without parole.  Pretty ugly man to kill those happy little girls (that he professed to love before the whole state on T.V.) just two days before he confessed. |

I have never understood how someone could murder ANY children. This world is full of people who are evil and have no respect for human life.  |

A psychopath can justify their actions perfectly in their mind to any form of anti-societal behavior. Nazi-German SS officers murdered thousands of children daily and then went home happily to their own children, had a glass or two of their favorite beverage, listened to opera, made love to their wives or girlfriends, played with their pets, took a ride in the countryside, sat down to a sumptuous meal, slept an uninterrupted deep sleep under linen and rose the next morning refreshed. Then did it all over again, and again, and again.
At Nuremberg, the nazi's didn't bat an eye when confronted with their horrors.
It's still going on today in different ways all over the world and there are still nazi's among us who would want it that way again, i.e. Charlottesville. ("Jews will not replace us!")
There are supremacists among us who would do it that way to anyone who is not of their preferred skin color, religion, or national origin.
This guy is probably not a nazi. The cause of his behavior must be rooted in some form of psychopathy to induce such a horrendous effect. A murderer such as he is always described as "normal" by family, friends, church members, and neighbors until the bodies pile up. Some sort of hate in his heart boiled up in a nanosecond of rage; he saw them as objects of his hate (just like the nazi's) and eliminated them instantaneously to answer the hate. The answer is hate. Hate of self, hate of others, hate of society, hate of love of life.
That's how I try to conceptualize the hate pathology of some evil deeds, whether they are on an industrial scale or an individual scale.

I read they were on the verge of bankruptcy, not that this an excuse. His personal failure probably had something to do with his mania. How sad for his family. He didn't appear to be affected before his admission. Even less now. Let him rot forever.

Sad update: Little girls strangled and submerged in oil tank at the man's employer's well site. They were there for about four days, per the coroner's autopsy findings. Cause of death for their mother is still being determined by autopsy. Vigils and memorials at their home. In your own manner, please offer a prayer.  |

It's too snugglin bad that torture was-well here in the U S of A as I understand it-is banned as cruel and unusual punishment. Wouldn't wanna fergit the MUDERERS rights now would we?  Too bad the deaths he brought to his girls his wife and the unborn can't be visited upon him and bring him back til he has suffered all 4 deaths he put on his own. Then the 4th of his deaths impress upon him we may bring you back again BUT we iz gonna take a long cursed time to git the 4th one done. When his FINAL Judgement comes around-well I won't speculate-but I may have a bit of an idea of What MAY happen!  The TRULY Scary part bout this-yer description here-dud is he actually "looks" like he could ride with us and fit in!  He "looks" like a guy you could have a cold one with after work or after a ride. Scary chit dat! RIDE SAFE. |

I've heard that happens frequently  Child abusers / killers have no friends in prison. |
