Saw a motorcycle accident once. The rider clipped his elbow during the get off. The first thing the first first responder asked him was were you wearing a helmet. The rider gave him a funny look and said, not on my elbow.

Glad to hear it! Bike is scratched up significantly.
Bummer...hope it's repairable...doesn't take much to total something of our bike's vintage nowadays. Found myself laughing out loud over my shoulder medical claims when I realized I was thankful they don't evaluate US for insurance claim purposes the way they do our machines... *looks at shoulder MRI*

Would cost more than just buying another. Frame didn't seem available (new was $1500). Now they seem to be, with titles. If you can transfer all the parts, today I would have bought a frame ($200-$500) and have transferred the parts over. |

Maybe do a custom version of black and red, different lines than stock, that would be neat. |

I'm not certain more power is needed. It did turn out remarkably well. I was coming up on or alongside the tonnage of two colliding automobiles and walked away with a single flesh only injury. Had I been just a split second further down the road I would not be talking to you about it. |

I think a midnight blue metallic with dark charcoal metallic accent colored stripes like the 70's muscle cars had (much like your blue/white striped bike) would look very striking and yet subtle and classy. |
