How many motorcycles have you had stolen in your lifetime?
In High School in 1967 I had my 106cc Gilera (Italian made....sold by Sears and Robuck) stolen from the High School. Recoverd a few months later. Really aggregavated me as it was my only transportation.
Again in 1971 I had my new 1971 Kawasaki H1 500cc triple stolen from my apartment. Never recovered.
How about the rest of you guys and gals?

The only thing ever stolen was a moped that was sitting on my front porch for years I have no idea when it was stolen. My father was convince I knew what happened to it but I don't even know what year it was stolen. I lost interest in the moped as soon as I got my first street bike so I parked it on the porch the only person that what have even seen it would have been the newspaper boy to this day I'm convinced that he stole it. I have owned 10 other bikes over the years maybe more and a crap load of cars and yet never had anything stolen.

0 bikes.
Had a car stolen in Sandy Springs, GA in 1994.
Buick Le Sabre 4 door silver grey with a crushed red cloth interior. Interior looked like a room from a western "saloon".
Eventually got it back WITH ACCESSORIES. Picked it up at the pound.
Someone had put chrome rims on it, a really nice wood steering wheel AND fitted rear air suspension.
I was pimping it!!!
Bonus was finding about $1,000 worth of tools in the trunk.

I had my first real street bike stolen back in 1984. It was a 1980 450 Nighthawk, black with a chrome stripe. I only owned the bike for a few weeks. I went over to my aunt's restaurant and stayed the night. My aunt lived above the restaurant. When I woke up, the thieves stole my bike and my cousin's new 500 Shadow. Looked like they dragged the bikes and put them in a truck. I didn't really care because the bike was a gut box. I got my insurance money and bought a 750 Interceptor. That bike could move and I loved the sound during acceleration. My cousin had to wait a month to get paid because he had some sort of waiting period on his insurance policy. He ended up buying a 1000 Interceptor. We had a lot of fun on those bikes. Those were good times.

None. Ever. When I park "somewhere" for the night that is Not my locked garage I have small padlocks that fit the drilled holes in the brake discs on Phatt Ghurl. And-I know I know not worth the trouble-I also use the steering head lock. And while I would be broken hearted IF Phatt Ghurl was stolen from me I keep the Insurance on Her 24/7/365. RIDE SAFE.

I had one attempt - I had just moved to Jacksonville FL, and someone tried hot wiring my 1981 CB750F. They never made it out of the apartment complex parking lot - guess they didn't connect the right wires good enough.

1 in 1970. My month old Yamaha 125 enduro from my high school parking lot in Costa Mesa Cal. With the insurance money I went down and bought a 1970 250 enduro. A few months later I got a call from a towing yard that they had found my bike. I went down to look at it and all that was there was the frame all covered in seaweed. Someone came across it at the bottom of Newport Harbor.

None, but there was always a cruiser setting in my driveway and a couple of large German Shepards in the house. Hmmm

When I'm leaving my bike unattended somewhere I always try to park next to a bunch of Harleys Harleys get stolen before Valkyries as most thieves don't know a superior motorcycle when they see one.

Yup, that was me Meathead. I think I did that one late night half asleep. Good thing I don't drink anymore....All is good.
Baldo: They probably look at a Valkyrie and say: Toooo big to steal. I think they are intimidating to most people?? Also could that be an attraction?

Long ago in a far away place, I rode and owned a Kawaski Big Horn 350 prior to joining the Marines. Was sure when I left for recruit training it was in my Dad's equipment barn, tarped and out of the way. Upon returning a couple of years later, it was no where to be found. Asked Dad about it, he had no idea. The tarp was still where I remembered it.... It wasn't worth much but, it was mine and missing. . Reported it to the Sheriff but to no avail. A few years later I ran into the "girlfriend" I left behind. After conversing for a while she asked me if I wanted my bike back.... Huh???? She then told me that she and two of her girlfriends had taken it and hid it in her Dad's barn telling him that she was storing it for me when I got back..... Knowing that we were a "thing" at that time, he never questioned her story.... I got my KZ Big Horn back that weekend...... Two weeks later gave it to another friend. Needless to say, that old "girlfriend" and I never got back together. I didn't ask why she took the bike and to be honest, I don't want to know. Won't say it was stolen but, borrowed for safekeeping? She was a tad bit possessive about things..... Rams

none as well but mine are Hondas mostly, not in a sea of HD's around where I live. I do own a Kymco scooter able to push away easy enough at 350lbs., but not worth much and am sure my insurance company would give me what I paid for it.

Back in the mid nineties I bought a new pick up with all the bells and whistles. Had it about two weeks before I moved for a new job in Ohio. First morning there I walked out of my temp housing and looked out into the parking lot and didn't see my new truck. Yep, someone wanted it more than I did apparently. Filed the police report and eventually got something else to drive. Nine years down the road and I get a call from the Cleveland PD. They found my truck. It had been taken to a shop, stripped of most of the identifying VIN and rebuilt with other parts and VINs. Actually, they simply glued another VIN on top of the old one and that glue let loose. None of the bells and whistles originally on my new truck were still there and most of the sheet metal had been changed. The truck was now four different colors. Leather interior was gone...... I hate thieves! Rams
