Corey Booker probably didn’t help his self with his antics yesterday. Of course if you look at Nike, any advertising is good advertising. I bet even his competitors in the 2020 primaries will use it to needle him. Were there any comedy skits about Booker and Spartacus last night? Can you imagine what would happen if Trump proclaimed he was having a Spartacus moment?  I know no national security concerns were in jeopardy with anything released by Booker but his cavalier attitude toward breaking the rules as far as releasing confidential info should give people pause and consider which other rules he will decide to ignore and tell everyone to bring it on. |

His claim later was that the documents were only released due to his threats to disclose them and that he would continue to release documents supposedly to force the hand of the committee. Grandstanding to be sure but also a display of self importance that, I’m a US Senator and I will do as I please, things that would get the average citizen a jail cell.

Because he was making a statement threatening to release privileged information, which is an expulsion level offense. It wasn't known what exactly he was going to release until he released it, and that's when it was discovered the info he released had already been cleared for release (And he had been told this) before his stunt. "As it turns out, though, the documents Booker released had already been cleared by Burck. What’s more, in a statement to The Washington Post on Thursday afternoon, Burck noted that Booker knew the documents were no longer confidential. “We cleared the documents last night shortly after Senator Booker’s staff asked us to,” he said. “We were surprised to learn about Senator Booker’s histrionics this morning because we had already told him he could use the documents publicly. Would someone please pull and burn the voter id cards of those voting for Booker.
It is apparent they are not smart enough or adult enough to vote.
Oops, maybe they were not allowed to have voter id cards, but were allowed to vote!
Then restrict them to the Peoples Republic of New Jersey, so they will not interact with intelligent citizens.

He’s the next messiah...the liberal hypocrites (the ones with armed security and gated communities that deny gun rights to the rest of the state) in North Jersey have the election sewn up for any Democrat that runs.
Booker was a lousy mayor and did nothing for Newark...all self serving. You won’t see any front page news reports of his confirmation stunt...doesn’t fit the agenda. Sure, there are some newspaper articles but so far nothing seen on local news regarding his dis-ingenuousness and grandstanding.
There’s no hope for NJ...and less if he gets elected in a repeat of Obama.
