This one is thousands of years old but still relevant today.
When Noah was told to put two of each kind on the ark there was left the issue of truth and falsehood
Falsehood said to truth can you loan me your clothes so I can be safe on the ark and truth did so They both survived the flood.
When it was time to leave the ark falsehood refused to give back the clothes and escaped into the world.
Ever since, you may have trouble at first determining falsehood because it so often is cloaked in apparent truth. But the lie remains if one looks closely.
So it is with Obama's legacy and that of HR Clinton
The truth is that the lies of his administration continue by his minions remaining in high office. It seems to me that because all were not turned out in 2016, many well meaning americans fail to be able to recognize that the same lies they rejected in electing Trump are directed at every single thing the man has tried to do since his election. Indeed they are bent on his destruction and that of the republic. The first person to call another evil may often be found to be the real evil itself. Follow the trail of the money back to where it came, mr "I will have more latitude after the election" while speaking to the Russians, Obama will be shown by history to be the worst thing ever to happen to this country.
Obama and HRC's socialist america will fail but at what cost? We need all americans to think hard on what we lost the 8 yrs under Obama and what we have already taken back. and continue the trend for recovery. Dont just sit back, help your candidates save the Republic from falsehoods, antifa and intolerance.
People can disagree on the direction of the country, but the personal demonization, stifling of speech and destruction of private property of those with whom we disagree like the canary in the coal mine shows the poison in the air and the true colors of the speakers.

We can only hope that much of what has been happening will begin to come to the surface as things are unraveling in Washington. And I am fully aware that both sides may have some splaining to do and so be it if we can get to the truth.

Yes indeed, very well said sir.  The parable of falsehood wearing truth's clothes does seem ancient (and as true today as ever). I don't think I've heard it before. |

A different fable ;
A sacred Image was being carried to the temple. It was mounted on an Ass adorned with garlands and gorgeous trappings, and a grand procession of priests and pages followed it through the streets. As the Ass walked along, the people bowed their heads reverently or fell on their knees, and the Ass thought the honor was being paid to himself.
With his head full of this foolish idea, he became so puffed up with pride and vanity that he halted and started to bray loudly. But in the midst of his song, his driver guessed what the Ass had got into his head, and began to beat him unmercifully with a stick.
