He's not being "blamed" for the storm. He's being accused, and rightfully so, by his actions, of taking the absolute worst path regarding pollution and global warming. Before everyone gets their teats in a twist, please try and defend the three points in the attached video. -- rolled back mandates blocking rogue methane leaks from oil and gas wells. -- weakened rule to limit carbon dioxide pollution from coal-fired power plants. -- reduced regulations capping greenhouse gas emissions from automobiles. Now I'm no scientist, but I do breathe. And those things don't sound like they're doing any of us any good. Oh, don't get me wrong. Some scumbags are getting incredibly rich, but guess what. Those assholes have to breathe too.

"We have a president that is denying the impacts of, you know, this hurricane season last year and this year and actively making the problem worse by, you know, not addressing this root cause of worsening storms,” Holthaus told to a nodding Hayes. On CNN, political analyst John Avlon, in a segment titled "Reality Check," suggested Trump is at fault for Hurricane Florence, and that his climate policies could kill up to 80,000 people per decade. In the Washington Post, the paper editorialized that Trump is "complicit" in Hurricane Florence's anticipated destruction.

If someone is stupid enough to still believe in man made global warming there is no point in trying to discuss anything with him.

I've been working on planes for almost 40 years, and have yet to work on a chemtrail system. I'll go through the manuals today to see if I can find it. Any idea what ATA that is?

So, apparently you don't draw any connection between the tons of pollution being released into the atmosphere every day, day in and day out , and it's effect on the climate? Am I correct in that assumption? What were you saying about some not being bright enough to apply basic logic?

I am not a scientist but do read a lot on bought sides of the CO2 issue.
First of all CO2 is not a pollutant. It is plant food. IN the past, long time ago, there was a lot more CO2 in the air than now, triple even. Critters who live back then were totally OK with it. Greenhouses inject CO2 into the air to help the plants grow. The levels of CO2 on Subs is a lot higher than what is out in our air. As far as it being a Greenhouse gas, take some time and find out how much CO2 is actually in our air. You might be surprised to find it pretty small part of our air. Also the amount of Man Made CO2 is a small portion of the CO2 in the air. Plus the higher amount is causing a greening of the planet.
Also take some time to find what folks are saying about the Computer program that is suppose to show what is/will happen to our Global Temps. Don't take it at face value.
As far as general pollution goes, We as a country have reduce the amount we are producing. It is really a large amount. AND we have reduce the amount of CO2 production a lot.

By repeatedly misdirecting you demonstrate precisely what I said about basic logic. Your assumption is neither necessarily correct nor applicable. You could have asked whether I believe the climate is warming globally, whether I believe man made pollutants significantly contributed to global warming, or whether I believe that hunakind can have any impact on reversing global warming. You didn't.

Typical misdirecting cartoon, mhead. The contested issue is not whether the climate is changing, but whether it is changing because of human contribution.
I found baldo's response demonstartive of his inability to apply logic when he referred to being required to stick to the subject at hand as word games. I would say that continually redirecting and changing the subject matter is what word games are about.

Dude, Look up some historical pictures of Pittsburgh Or any other major industrial city)at the turn of the century, The pollution today is minimal in comparison. I'm not saying pollution is a good thing, and I'm glad we have cleaned things up. A modern car actually cleans the air in some cities, but there is the law of diminishing returns to consider. Our vehicles now cost a small fortune due to emission controls and mandated safety items. Man made global warming is a hoax.

That statement would be true until the prior presidential administration redefined CO2 (Ya' know, what we exhale) as a pollutant.... Now every person is polluting with every breath, every cow is polluting with every fart, etc. etc. etc...

Just got back to our home in Sneads Ferry, NC. Look it up; we were right about where she made landfall and much of the news/vids you saw were of our little fishing town. I'm about 1.5 miles from the coast as the crow flies and have a creek behind our house that goes to the Intracoastal. Thank God, we had a couple branches down and that's it! Our dock was completely under water, but remained intact! Our creek is a bit calmer than the big waters, so we don't get much in the way of waves to break up a dock. Nearest calculation I've seen is that we had almost 30 inches of rain!
Someone asked, "Where do you go when a million people evacuate?" Well, we had my sister, her kids, my mom, and pets. We started searching immediately for hotels and the nearest we found that could accomodate that group with pets was all the way to Calhoun, Georgia!
After a week in GA, we moved to Myrtle Beach and waited for the sweet spot between the initial storm flooding, and the rivers rising again from the inland flooding. We had a half day window and punched through to get home. All prayers were appreciated. Many were not as fortunate as us.
