and notice how the main news media is quite on this

https://www.yahoo.com/news/more-victims-added-detroit-area-genital-mutilation-case-160805317.html

Federal prosecutors have added three Illinois girls as victims in a criminal case against Detroit-area doctors accused of female genital mutilation.

The disclosure was made Wednesday in an updated indictment against Dr. Jumana Nagarwala and others.

The government is accusing Nagarwala of performing genital mutilation on nine girls at a Livonia clinic. She denies any crime and says she performed a religious custom on girls from her Muslim sect, the Dawoodi Bohra.

The government says the victims were three girls from Illinois, four from Michigan and two from Minnesota . Eight people have been charged in the case.

The initial charges were filed in April 2017. A trial is scheduled for January.

You know what the punishment should be for this right?

The eighth amendment prevents it.  (Cruel and unusual punishment)

If this was legal under some 1st Amend. free exercise of religion exception grounds (it's not), then the guilty should be subject to equally medieval punishment under a religious exception to the Eight Amendment.

They wouldn't have to go all the way through the chipper, just part of them.  Fair is fair.

Edit:   And another thing.  Any person doing (or in any way assisting) with this barbarity should lose their medical license or certification for life.  (Business licenses too)

Custodial parents should also be prosecuted fully as accessories or principles to the crime, and reckless endangerment of minors, and put through the full CPS wringer (including termination of parental rights).

There wasn't much to the article, but, I agree that the parents should be held accountable and not be any longer allowed to be parents.

I just happened to tune in this A M to C B N-Christian Broadcasting Network-and the experiment in Sweden appears to be not going well at all. In a nut shell Sweden told the mooslims if you don't wanna assimilate keep yer religion and yer beliefs. And young women old/older women are being raped and in some cases murdered. And carrying pepper spray or tasers is illegal in Sweden. And it IS already happening here. And like here and in Sweden if you call the mooslims on it You ARE The Racist. Yeah-right. RIDE SAFE.

they're demon book tells them to conquer the world not to assimilate.

In 1786, while serving as an Ambassador for the new United States, Jefferson asked Tripoli’s Ambassador to Great Britain what right the Barbary states had that allowed them to kidnap and slaughter the innocent crews of passing merchant ships.

According to Jefferson, Sidi Haji Abdul Rahman Adja replied that Islam “was founded on the Laws of their Prophet, that it was written in their Qur’an, that all nations who should not have acknowledged their authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found, and to make slaves of all they could take as Prisoners, and that every Musselman [Muslim] who should be slain in battle was sure to go to Paradise.”

In essence, the Ambassador from Tripoli stated that their religion, Islam, gave them the right to kidnap and murder and enslave those who held different beliefs.  Jefferson took this information to heart and remembered it well.  He also spent time studying the Koran himself, to gain a better understanding of the enemy his young nation was facing.

In 1801, when Jefferson was president, the Pasha of Tripoli suddenly demanded a massive payment from the United States, along with an increased annual tribute, in order to secure safe passage for American ships through the Mediterranean.

Jefferson refused the demands of the Pasha, and instead of sending more money and acquiescing to the angry and demanding Muslims, he sent naval warships bearing the newly created U.S. Marine Corps.

This was the first war by the American nation on foreign soil, and is where the line “to the shores of Tripoli” in the Marine Corps hymn comes from.  It is also believed that the term “Leathernecks,” which refers to Marines, comes from the thick leather neck coverings that the Marines wore to protect themselves from being beheaded by the giant swords wielded by the Barbary pirates.

Thomas Jefferson showed how a U.S. president should respond to threats from radical Islamists, and that is by confronting and defeating them.

What 98Valk said is correct about the religion known to us as Islam.  It would do us all well to learn more about Islam, what it stands for, what their belief system is, their history, and their goals.

Soil is the key word.  The Marines through the Revolutionary War were used as hand to hand defense and boarders on the ships.  Newly created?  The Marine Corps in 1801 was not as newly created as the U.S. Army.

I think that you may have misspoke:

The U.S. Army was founded on June 14, 1775, when the Continental Congress authorized enlistment of riflemen to serve the United Colonies for one year.

The United States Marine Corps Birthday is celebrated every year on 10 November with a traditional ball and cake-cutting ceremony. On that day in 1775, the Continental Marines were established.

Eight Marines under Lt. Presley O'bannon.

I stand corrected on several points.  Yes, the Army was born before the USMC.

Also, Congress, believing we had no need for standing military forces disbanded the Navy, Marine Corps, and Army after the Revolutionay War ended.  The Navy and Marine Corps were again authorized in 1797 and 1798 in preparation for war with France.

It was not improper for the copied article to refer to either the Marine Corps or Navy as newly created although newly recreated would have been more accurate.
