I had fun. It was relaxing except for the 6 hr inferno ride fri. Ended up heading towards home this morning early, only took 4 hrs to get home.  Undecided Broke a speedo cable around Muncie. Got into town and dad called to tell me my brothers mom inlaw died in a wreck today. Other then this it was a great time. I think J and I will spend a weekend down there looking at historic sites. A lot of history there.

Corydon was the 2nd Civil War battle fought north of the Mason-Dixon. The other was Gettysburg.  Shocked

Got home at 3 pm and had a fantastic time. Thanks to everyone involved putting this together. Lot of fun was had.

Had someone pull right out in front of me on way home by Terre Haute and I had nowhere to go but the median. Hit one of those drains and went airborne. Came down and maintained control and only damage was broken saddle bag mount. What ride that was. Those following me could not believe the bike stayed up. Divine intervention is all i can say.

Great time again Steve.  This was my fourth DRU since buying the Valk in 2015.  Each one has been better than the last.  Great seeing the group and making new friends.  Had lunch with the guys from Colorado.  Long trip for those two.  Sound like Wizzard had one of those pucker moments.  Glad everything worked out for him.

Shout out for Mike from Springfield, OH who helped out a fellow rider Friday night with a crinkled back fender.  Easyrider (Ron from Ft. Wayne) had been rear ended on I-64 and the turn signals pushed into the tire.  After trying to bend out the fender from underneath, Mike suggested the fender be removed, which was the correct decision as the wiring insulation had been rubbed off and one of the wires broken causing two fuses to pop.  After pushing the fender back out, fixing the wiring and re-installing the rear fender half (no easy feat with those damn square nuts--on one side anyway) Ron was able to make the ride on Saturday and head up to Ft. Wayne later.  Have not heard from him but trust he made it OK.

All in all, a great weekend of riding.

Steve,
Many thanks to you and Gavin for putting in the time and effort to make the Dragon Round Up the great time it is.  The effort you put into the Dragon Round Up shows in the smooth flow of great fun.

I enjoyed the DRU very much again this year.  The lunch at Bill and Dave’s was a great choice.

I've met a great group of friends through the Valkyrie and rides like this. Thanks Steve, Gavin, and everyone else who puts these events together not only for the great rides on great roads but the community we all have formed.
