Their site is there but not accepting any input and they do not answer their phones. Anyone know what's going on?

Nope, didn't ask you, but I agree with you. cooldude
Otherwise they would be on the bike instead of stashed in the shed.

The company sucked for support - denied they had a desgin problem when they all cracked.  Probably why they are gone.

My 2003 standard has had their bags on her since 2003.  The bike has 88,000 miles on it and the bags as well.  They are not the most elegant solution but they were far more secure then "leather" bags.

So, I have been happy with my purchase and their durability.

Neither Lesa nor I like bags on our Valks 100% of the time. As a matter of fact about the only time we put them on is for a long distance ride such as Inzane or something similar.
For us the Leatherlykes have been the perfect bag. Easy installation and removal and sturdy enough to do the job.

These shock protectors are no longer available.  Just another design problem with LL bags, pushing sideways on the shocks, caused the need for these.

Leatherlykes served me well for many, many thousands of miles until I put on the painted Interstate hard bags.
