Any of you former Detroit, Detroit suburbs or Michigan riders remember any of these "stories" that were most popular around Halloween?

Over the years I have read and also seen on tv, and first had accounts on C2CAM, numerous stories just like this, although this one is new to me even though I did live in Detroit suburbs for 3 years.  Some actually try and help other folks to not succumb to what caused there death.  There is a railroad crossing, I think in  Texas in which if you come to these tracks and go very  slow or stop the spirit may push you over the tracks so you do not meet the same fate the spirit did when alive. For some reason these spirits just do not want to go to the light and escape this trauma.  Those that occupy homes and buildings can be persuaded to move on by the right people.  Demonic entities are a much tougher to get rid off.

I heard it was somewhere around San Antonio and it was a bus with kids that stalled on the tracks as a train hit it killing them.

Supposedly, you stop at the intersection and cut your car off and after a bit the car will move by itself across the tracks. Kicker is it rolls uphill.
Also you can put Flour or some kind of powder on your rear bumper and trunk and after it rolls past the tracks there will be small hand prints in the powder.

A friend of mine told me her and a few friends went there and tried it and the car did roll across the tracks and there were hand prints.
But now she told the story after bowling night and a few beers... (or quite a few as this girl could, and did, drink) so...

This got me curious so I googled it and sure enough there's utube vids about it. Tells what intersection and all.

One of the linked stories is about the Denton Bridge.
I just drove the entire length of Denton from near Cherry Hill south to the Belleville Lake terminus.
Didn’t see nary a spook.  Evil

I've heard of the "Knock Knock" story over by Detroit. I've also heard the convict story with the dog explanation. We have a place west of town where Al Capone "supposedly" spent much of his time but it was never really substantiated. It was called the Yellow Motel. Had a tennis court and a one way drive. It was out in the middle of the sticks and the house sat quite a ways off the road. You could barely see it and only because it was yellow, thus the name. I was in the house as a teen. I was doing a school project and snuck in and made a film of the house and property. Then put the film to music using  The House Of The Rising Sun by the Animals. Got an A+ and was asked a million questions about the place.

No one would go to close to the house because it was rumored that no one knew for sure when one of Capone's gang or Capone himself was there. There was a fairly large garage on the property. It was also rumored that Capone would take his enemies there and murder them in the house or garage. Then bury them on the property. Thus the house being haunted. I filmed small holes in the walls of the house, again thought to be bullet holes. There was also supposed to be blood stains on the floors but I found none.

The garage was just that, a garage with a dirt floor on one side and cement on the other. Kinda spooky, the whole place, just because of the stories. A small black man named Willie lived west of town. He was said to have drivin for Capone? I had seen him several times.  I asked him one time if that was true?  His reply to me was: "that's another time". I guess his reply was up to interpretation. He never spoke much but seemed to have money. Other than that question I never spoke to Willie again. One day, he was just gone. I never knew what happened to him.

The Yellow Motel was arsoned on 2 ocassions. The first time we stopped the fire before too much damage was done. The second time the house was arsoned at around 3:00 am. The house was fully involved when we got there. It was a total loss. To see it end like that was a weird feeling for me. The rumor still lives on with us older folks but you don't hear much about it anymore. The youth of today has no idea of its stigma or the stories for that matter. When the house died so did it's stories.
