So since Chemo depresses all the numbers I had to wait six weeks after the six rounds of Chemo to see how the CLL is really doing.  Yesterday was the day.  I forgot to post this but my Dr says since the red cells, white cells and hemoglobin are perfectly normal I am in full remission.  The platelets are still below normal but they are rising.  She also said that under the microscope the platelets I do have are large and active and very healthy.

That was the best news ever especially since she (My Dr) told me that she was planning on ordering a bone marrow biopsy for TODAY!!! if the platelets had not increased enough to satisfy her and going from 12 to 22 in six weeks saved me from the biopsy!..

Its an answer to all the prayer and a happy day for sure.  Full remission after this chemo lasts years.  It certainly may flare up again in the future but we can jump off that bridge when/if we come to it.

Thanks everyone.  I am praying the bridge never comes!

Thanks for the update and glad it's a positive one!

Hope you'll be able to make it to Taos next June, our brief chats in Roanoke were too brief...
