Nope, but this I would have if I could.   I like Windmills. Trying to design one for my place. Needs to be about 16' tall.

Probably a combination of radial thrust bearings on the bottom and a few roller bearings along the shaft with spacer tubes in between. I used tapered roller ones like near the top of this page https://www.timken.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/10765_Timken-Thrust-Bearing-Catalog.pdf for palletizer machines with ball screw elevators.

The D C 3/C 47 air planes are STILL Beautiful Birds. Flown in a couple back in the 60s. RIDE SAFE.

Yep, I would sure like either those aircraft. I wouldn't be able to afford to keep either one flying though.

The first large twin I trained in was a DC3 [ actually R4D]. That seemed like a LONG way down to the ground from the drivers seat.  But, they are a great sweet flying airplane [ as long as you don't stall it].

They were fun to work on, too. We had twelve of them.....

No doubt, an interesting and unique airfield tetrahedron.
Some one with money and imagination thought that up.   cooldude
