git here too snugglin soon. There is a d versus r battle here in Missouri-claire mccaskil v josh hawley-josh bein the r. To listen to either camp they both believe the other IS in FACT lucifer incarnate. To say I'm already fed up with the bull droppings is stating it mildly. BUT on the other hand claire DID vote Against Justice Kavanaugh and some other items that while they were passed she chose to vote against. AND she IS an old line d who-trying to remain civil-may just be past her prime and usefulness. Anyone else here on Our Board have a contentious political battle with kaka slingin goin on? YEAH-I KNOW up front this are indeed and fact another political post!  Lips Sealed RIDE SAFE.

Sure do in Indiana.  Joe Donnelly (D) vs Mike Brawn (R). Donnelly voted against Kavanaugh as well. He voted against the tax plan. Voted with the Dems most every time. He doesn't have Hoosiers values in mind if he ever did. The ads have been pretty contentious to say the least. Donnelly needs to go.....

Here in KC, we see both MO and Kansas political ads - I wouldn't vote for any of them.

Whatever happened to civil advertising - tell me why I should vote for you instead of tearing down your opponent.

Our senators are not up this cycle but I’m pretty happy with McConnell right now. I don’t know of anyone Republican or Democrat that can replace him right now.

We have a governors race that may surprise a lot of people.

R) Scott Walker  vs.  D) Tony Evert

The polls say that the challenger Evert is ahead by 5-6 points.
I hope they are wrong.

Jim,I don't take much stock in polls. Remember they had Clinton by 20% at times. We all know how that turned out for her. Thank God......

Here in Texas we have a close senate race.    Ted Cruise  (Republican) vs Beto Orourk (Democrat).  Ted Cruise ....not the best candidate for the job but I'll vote for him.  Beto Orourk his opponnent, in the past has been arrested for burglary, DWI and trying to leave the scene of an accident.  In the Democrats world these crimes are ok but in the Republican world it's not (look at Kavenaugh).  I am a 44 yr retired career IBEW (Electrician) and voted Democratic all my life.   No more.  Not the Democratic party anymore.  Used to be the party of the working class....now the party of the people who don't want to work,

Of all the years I’ve been voting I cannot remember a time when things were as nuts as this.

I was nervous for the presidential election but this one has me worried.

There are huge ramifications if the Dems win the Senate and House.

The hypocrisy overfloweth!  Kavenaugh is a rapist because of an unsubstantiated accusation from 4 decades ago that supposedly didn't even go past a clothed second base, and then declared a liar and unsuitable for gov't service due to erroneously interpreted 1982 high school yearbook teenage "quotes" and the words and mannerism he used to defend his superb and unblemished professional judicial and legal career and private life.

I'm voting.  But in NY, my vote counts for nothing.  I had to just now look up who the Republican/Conservative  candidate even is.  A guy named Marc Molinari from Dutchess County is running against Cuomo.  The Cuomo who announce that America was never great.  NY couldn't even get a Right wing candidate to go up against that.  I've seen no commercials for this guy, no radio ads, no billboards or signs anywhere.  I guess The Right just knows that NY, CA, Il, etc will never be turned so they don't spend money here.  Thank goodness for the electoral college.

Agreed.  Mitch has shown he knows how to get things done, especially with Trump's judicial picks.  He had a lot of detractors on the Republican side a few years ago, but his effectiveness has changed a lot of minds.

Agreed. Cruz is absolutely a better pick. He’s not my favorite guy, but I do not want Beto in at all. Beto is for wide open borders with zero vetting and is one of these newer socialist democrats.
