I think I'm gonna keep her.

I now have 4 bikes, I need a bigger bike shed.

does not look like a newly designed 2018.

If you got a good deal on it as am sure you did, congrats.  I have found used white and yellow goldwings usually go cheaper than more common colors of red/blue/gray/silver/black.  Color does not make it run better or faster though as we all know.

From the taillights and bags I'd guess 2010 or earlier.  I've been impressed how modern the GL1800s look even though they barely changed since they hit the market in late 2000.  It is a timeless design that will age well.

The white ones and the yellow ones were the best ones!

White is the fastest.
Not a 2018.
The chrome in the radiator outlet is called “shark fins”.

I sold my black ‘08 Wing about 12 weeks ago....got a ‘17 Indian Chieftain back in March.
Still have 2 Valk Tourers, ‘97 & ‘99.

Ken, like ridin’ them all

I thought black was the fastest color, thus the reason I have a black I/S.... coolsmiley

honestly cannot say I have ever seen a white goldwing, so makes it more rare and worth more right?

Seen a few yellow ones cannot say I care for that color though..

NICE!!  cooldude

I always ride solo.  If I had that bike and barcolounger back seat, I think I'd make a (lightweight) funny looking straw scarecrow and put him back there.  Better than a stuffed animal (and with a little work, I could make him do all my waving)  Grin

It's a 2008 Garage Queen, she's got a hair over 20K on her, barely broken in. I think it has every option you could put on a Wing. Not a scratch on it. I'm really happy with the deal I got on it.
It's not an upgrade though, it's an addition. No way am I getting rid of the FatGirl.

Did you steal those lights off a DOT road-grader?   Grin

I couldn't get that in my bike shed door.  (2 valks)  (well I could, but it would be folded up)

No chrome top luggage rack nor passenger arm rests though, just kidding!  Nice find!

If I found a too good of deal to pass up I usually buy as well, but I already have once or twice and now garage full.  Just so all of you know, you can squeeze in 5 bikes in the space of almost a 1 car garage.  This coming spring 1 to 3 of them might be sold though if the 'other' right/good deal comes along on something else.

They are folded upright , you should see them when they are horizontal .  They stick out a long ways .

Just kidding about being  horizontal , although , I have thought  of changing them to  a  horizontal position . They stay vertical .     Those lights get me a lot of attention  , that's what I wanted  .

I did have them fixed to  be 1/3  white and 2/3  amber turn  , however , I decided  100%   amber as a turn  was better at  being safe  , attention getting  .
Sometimes , people pull of the road for me to pass , at least I think that's what they are doing .
I always wave and smile and give them a thumbs up as I pass  Smiley

I got the lights and amber lenses  from Amazon
Do you need links ?
Here ya go .
https://www.amazon.com/Waterproof-Protctive-Covers-Wrangler-Trucks/dp/B06VSGYHHF/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1539703102&sr=8-3&keywords=amber+light+bar+lens

I added  amber film to the inside of the lens making it darker  , purchased at auto parts store .

To get the2/3  lights blinking and 1/3   as a  headlight , I purchased  3 different  size  lights and moved parts around  to get what I wanted , was an easy job

Wouldn't horizontal hit the road surface too easily?

Well ,  I'd attach them to the highest  point on the engine guard  as possible in the hopes  that would not happen .
Trial and error ,   don't you think ??

I'd leave them as is, looks more streamlined.
