A 2006 w/100k on the clock, any idea what it's worth? Seller says price is negotiable.

It would depend on extras and their costs. I have an '05 with thousands of extras and 70K. I'd sell it for about $9K but stripped, it would sell for about$7.5-$8.5K. With 100K, maybe $7-$8k.

I get WingWorld with my GWRRA membership and that's pretty much in line with the listings in the for sale section.

Sandy, that's what I told him. I went on Cycletrader and looked at stuff throughout the country, found a few '05 & '06 with less mileage for around the $8k mark. I suggested $7k tops.

agree,  7K tops but IMO more like 6 grand tops with 100K miles.  I have seen 05/06 wings with under 60K for 8K range, and some pushing 7K.

If you get it under 7K with some extras I say is worth it if he likes the extras and condition.  Definitely not worth over 8K regardless if loaded to the max with extras.

Here's an 06 in Plant City, FL with 38k mi for $7K:

https://www.cycletrader.com/listing/2006-Honda-Goldwing-1800-5004611335

This is all of the 1800 wings listed on cycle trader in FL:

https://www.cycletrader.com/Used-Lake-City-GOLD-WING-1800-Honda-Motorcycles/motorcycles-for-sale?type=Motorcycle%7C356953&make=Honda%7C2316874&model=GOLD%20WING%7C764856945&trim=1800%7C4044&condition=U&zip=32055&radius=400&state=Florida%7CFL

Based on this if he won't take $5k, I'd buy the one in Plant City.

Well, my SIL called me this evening and told me what the guy is asking. You could have knocked me over with a feather, I'll post it here after I find out if he buys it. He already has a nice black I/S but is looking at newer technology, his carbs are constantly bugging him 'cuz he doesn't ride it enough so wants the FI and reverse. He said since he's getting older the reverse will come in handy, my cue to rag on him a bit about old age....he's in his early 60's. Told me his Valk has a hitch mounted so I let him know if he sells that bike I want the hitch off it. He just laughed and asked what I'm willing to pay so I said since it's all in the family....then made a lowball offer. Guess we'll see what happens.  Wink

Nice looking Wing in Plant City.  I see one of those in my future but will NEVER get rid of the Valk--at least not by selling....

Is a good deal if he thinks it is a good deal after a long test ride.

100K miles does deflate the value significantly though so if you say it is pretty cheap and get it for say 5K, go for it.

I picked up a near 80K miles 1998 honda valkyrie tourer locally for 3K not mint by any means, but most last November being 1 year ago in this age/shape were going for 4K easily.  He begged me to please by it since while there talking to him he got 2 more phone calls asking questions about it and he said he had dozens of tire kickers blowing up his cell phone wanting it that first week advertised.  He was asking 3300 but needed the cash soon,  cash in hand talks!  cooldude   always wanted a tourer with LOUD cobra exhaust and that one fit the bill regardless of miles/condition due to price so if a very good deal comes around,  I say go for it before it is gone.  I did the same thing with a 2008 can am max outlander 2-up ATV 800cc only 2000 miles snatched it up for 5500 bucks ASAP about 6 years or so ago most in that condition wanted 7K at the time.  I could still get 5K for it now.
