I almost feel like these should be standard on motorcycles.

I was following someone a few days ago and it took me a few minutes to figure out his brakes were coming on every time he slowed down.  Made him incredibly easy to follow without running up on him when he was slowing.  And the idea of giving cagers behind me more time to stop seems like a pretty big deal.

I did a search on the board and only found one post back in 2016.  I guess I'm over excited about it - I just think it's the bee's knees.

Add a couple of bucks and they add adapters for your specific bike so it should only take a couple of minutes to install.

(I'm not affiliated with them -I just think it's genius)

When installed don't get lulled into a false sense of security. Some will still not see the extra flash.

I think it is a great idea since I am not on my brakes slowing down much coasting or downshifting to slow down.  I replaced my rear brake pads a few years ago at around 35K miles and were OEM in 2001 so they last a long, long time.  Dealer said they were only near 1/2 shot could have went another 20-30K miles  but replaced them anyways and now the rear brakes slow me down if needed much sooner and easier less freeplay in the rear foot brake pedal.

Properly working disc brakes are self adjusting. There should be no free play difference as the pads wear down. If there is "free play" , check for a caliper piston that is sticking.

I have gotten into the habit of extending my left arm down and out when slowing. Most of the time, people behind me start slowing down. I have a 98 tourer with a Mutazu DB Trunk. The trunk gives extra light plus the lights in the trunk spoiler sequentially flash when I apply the brakes.
