I had never heard of them before. I had previously believed that tribes from New Guinea had been the last “wild” tribes having been corrupted by civilization.

cooldude very interesting ! I was reading an article earlier about these Sentinelese people. It said they had been killed by British and Japanese military in uniform so much in the past, that they just immediately kill anyone in uniform. It seems like the shrinking gene pool would have a dramatic effect on them. I listened to an audiobook called "Lost in Shang-ra-la". A true story of a plane going down in the jungle with some lost tribes. Excellent book.
