I really enjoyed the roads around the Georgia Guidestones... there's a
whole bunch of little roads on both sides of the lake-system/Savannah-River
that aren't near bridges... right on the lake there's some lake neighborhoods
of course, but the rest of all the roads mostly just run through the woods
and fields... rains coming after Christmas, it was bright and sunny today...
so I pulled out the red bike and we washed off the dust...

This road is a little north of Hartwell...

This road a little south...

I didn't use many of the roads I used last week, but I did arrive back at The Stones...

This time I remembered to take a couple of pictures of the astronomical details... if you look
through here at night you'll be looking at the North Star...

This slot is aligned with the sun's equinoxes and solstices...

I knew that if I continued down the little road used to get to the stones from 77, I'd eventually
come out on one of two roads that have bridges back to South Carolina. Along the way
I found a nice dirt road with guard rails and concrete bridges...

Nearer to home, I stopped to watch this little feller for a second...

I guess he saw me, he flew right over me and The Log Truck...
