How anyone can get the rear wheel that clean and shiny amazes me. The front tire I can do decent, but the gunk and wear and tear over many miles is almost impossible to get the rear rim sparkling like new again. I am happy just to get the gunk and road grime off the rims.
I tried once spending hours on the front/rear rims polishing them and got the front rim good, but the rear rim gave up could not get the spots shiny.
Lol. I tell people all the time. It's easier to keep a bike clean than it is to get a bike clean. When I bought the bike from a bike shop in fort Lauderdale there was a the beginning of a horrible mess from salt air. It took hrs that first week to get them like new again. Since then (17 yrs ago) I wipe them down several times a week, after almost every ride. Maybe I don't have enough miles at only 160K. Lol
