Does anyone remember what the price of Velocity stacks were when new and available?

I think I found them new for around $125 a decade ago.  Probably on ebay.  They were already out of production but they did a short run and I got lucky IIRC.  Company was Aeromach also IIRC.  Right now there's a used set on ebay for $325 at https://www.ebay.com/itm/HONDA-GL1500C-VALKYRIE-1500-VELOCITY-STACKS-INTAKE-CARB-CARBURETOR-COVERS/143104032800?hash=item2151aa4020:g:NBUAAOSwXINcS2Uc:rk:1:pf:0

Aeromach made them, and so did HDL (for cheaper), when HDL was owned by Valkyrie friendly people.

You can save a lot of money just using some blingy little air filters.

Or, find your size and look for universal Velocity Stacks.

With any luck, you can get some that don't require the tank to be shimmed up in front (but I think that was only for Interstates on the Aeromach's).

BTW I bought some "sparklers" for mine a few years ago.  Guessing they might still be available.

Why would they not continue to produce them if they were good coin?

If they were available new would you pay $350 for a set?

Has anyone contacted them and inquired about the molds?

Against the whole Valk universe, I bet relatively few were sold (by Aeromach or HDL).

I wouldn't pay anything for them as I don't want them.

My chromed out motors are more than showy enough.  YMMV

When HDL ownership changed, the very nice Valk specific part of their website disappeared, and so did a whole laundry list of specific items for Valk (many made in house or by contract).  No effort was made to see if Valk owners wanted any of their remaining inventory, let alone continuing production.  I could no longer get a Valk expert parts man on the phone.  I probably have a two inch stack of HDL receipts (and I used them for everything I needed), but none in 5-6 years.

Loyalty is a two way street.

I never shelled out for them either, they look kool but naturally don’t have any functionality, so I passed. Probably wouldn’t buy today for myself if I could get them for $149.00.

My tourer has a set that my wife got for me 8 years ago for 200 from aeromach. Look still new, no pitting or discoloration,  no functionality just a great conversation piece in my opinion
