Finally, but the thing I did not realize that Common Core had ties to Islam and that was why the teaching of Islam was in the public schools when Christianity was not allowed. Thank You, Trump and Desantis for this bit of good news and revelation of what Common Core was really. Also the executive order that made the change possible.

Things like
Girls in Colorado who go to school trips to mosques must wear head scarves

Debates on the Holocaust being a political scheme

Pledging allegiance to Allah in NY

Observing Muslim holy days in NY

Islamic vocabulary in NC

This is  only a few examples of what our youngsters were taught in school under common core.

http://www.bethanyblankley.com/why-does-common-core-require-teaching-islam/

Common core originated from One world education concept a global goal orchestrated by the connect all schools program funded by Qatar Foundation international. The director of QFI is Tariq Ramadan grandson of the Muslim Brotherhood founder Hassan al Banna

Obama said he wanted change now we see some of the changes and why would we wonder why our young kids dont get whats happening today and dont see the greatness of the US. We never would have heard the underlying truth of what Common Core was if any other had gotten in the White House.

I see that the festering puss that was the destruction of our country is being drained out little by little and we are beginning to see the truth that was NEVER explained to us when these programs were instituted.

There are a few more actions that need to be completed and I believe will be to see real change in the direction of this country.

It says so on the Internet, right?

Maybe you need to start checking your own facts. Not everyone is into your conspiracy theory BS. Plain and simple that is all it is, BS. My kids say the pledge of allegiance every day when school starts, so don't tell me it has pretty much been eliminated. The only reason i opened this is because you attacked Mike for calling you out.

Devotion a wonderful thing, but so is knowing whats happening in our country.

So Desantis stopping Common Core addressing this issue might be more than BS or maybe he is wrong also according you.

hmmm, has many quotes from DeSantis and not one says anything about islam. It does say the common core is a standard for Math and Language Arts.

We have done more to prove your wrong than you have to prove your theories. One link proves nothing which brings us back to Mikes response. If it is on the Internet it must be true. And why are you the only one hearing about this if it is all over the place? Maybe because you are the only one looking for it? I heard recently that the queen of england is a cannibal and Finland does not exist.

I don't think everything is an Illuminati/Islamic/con-trail conspiracy. I don't think hardly
anything is a secret new world order conspiracy. I think only places like bitchute,
rightwingmarch, prophesyinthenew and other kooks-R-us places on the Internet
think stuff like that.

I avoid those other places, but not this one, I guess I could keep my mouth shut  Lips Sealed ...

Where does it say common core directly relates to islam? Or in any way relates to islam?

Common Core State Standards: What You Need to Know

By Andrew M.I. Lee, J.D.

https://www.understood.org/en/school-learning/partnering-with-childs-school/tests-standards/common-core-state-standards-what-you-need-to-know

Forty-one states, the District of Columbia, four territories, and the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) have adopted the Common Core State Standards. The map below provides information about the process each state or territory followed to adopt their academic standards. Please note that states routinely review their academic standards and may choose to change or add onto the standards to best meet the needs of their students. The map provides links to the website in each state and territory that provides the most up-to-date information on a state’s specific academic standards.

I guess i fail to see the connection to islam just because some states have a curriculum they follow. You are digging too deep and are not getting anywhere. Not everything you see on the internet is true. But i still think the queen of england is a cannibal  crazy2 it's true, i read it right on this interweb thing.  https://www.businessinsider.com/craziest-internet-conspiracy-theories-2017-11

-If states can consistently change the academic standard to meet the needs of the students, then how will the NWO keep the curriculum (or standards) consistent to meet the agenda of brainwashing our youth?

Shocked  Maybe the readers of this BS are the ones being brainwashed. Can we not have anything anymore without someone trying to undermine what is actually happening? Does everything have to have a conspiracy behind it?

CAPE CORAL, Fla. - Gov. Ron DeSantis has announced that he will issue an executive order eliminating Common Core education standards from Florida schools.

DeSantis wants to streamline standardized testing, as well as increase the rate of literacy in schools.

If you guys are saying that he reacted to a conspiracy then he is way off mark according to you guys, but if he didn't react to a conspiracy why did he feel it was important enough to make an executive order knowing that the school board may not voluntarily take it out of the schools? Also having been asked by many people many times to get rid of this program.

It would be nice for all to understand what this means and where it came from but some regretfully will not. I guess that is one reason Trump is having so much trouble some understand and some don't.

U.S. Department of Education

The Vision of Education Reform in the United States: Secretary Arne Duncan's Remarks to United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), Paris, France

https://www.ed.gov/news/speeches/vision-education-reform-united-states-secretary-arne-duncans-remarks-united-nations-ed

It is an absolute honor to address UNESCO. During the last 65 years, UNESCO has done so much to advance the cause of education and gender equity, alleviate poverty, and promote peace. When UNESCO was founded in 1945, much of Europe, Russia, and Japan lay in ruin.

further on:

In March of 2009, President Obama called on the nation's governors and state school chiefs to "develop standards and assessments that don't simply measure whether students can fill in a bubble on a test, but whether they possess 21st century skills like problem-solving and critical thinking and entrepreneurship and creativity." Virtually everyone thought the president was dreaming.

But today, 37 states and the District of Columbia have already chosen to adopt the new state-crafted Common Core standards in math and English. Not studying it, not thinking about it, not issuing a white paper—they have actually done it. Over three-fourths of all U.S. public school students now reside in states that have voluntarily adopted higher, common college-ready standards that are internationally benchmarked. That is an absolute game-changer in a system which until now set 50 different goalposts for success.

The second game-changer is that states have banded together in large consortia to develop a new generation of assessments aligned with the states' Common Core standards. In September, I announced the results of the department's $350 million Race to the Top assessment completion to design this next generation of assessments.

Two state consortiums, which together cover 44 states and the District of Columbia, won awards. These new assessments will have much in common with the first-rate assessments now used in many high-performing countries outside the U.S. When these new assessments are in use in the 2014-15 school year, millions of U.S. schoolchildren, parents, and teachers will know, for the first time, if students truly are on-track for colleges and careers.

For the first time, many teachers will have the assessments they have longed for—tests of critical thinking skills and complex learning tasks that are not just multiple-choice, fill-in-the-bubble tests of basic skills.

So, in the end, transforming education is not just about raising expectations. It has to be about creating greater capacity at all levels of the system to implement reform. It has to be about results.

Sir Michael Barber's book, Instruction to Deliver, reminds us that the unglamorous work of reform matters enormously. He urges us to ask five questions that are almost the opposite of the compliance-driven process of technical assistance that has prevailed at the U.S. Department of Education.

Couldn't be any worse off than you are now for doing it, critical thinking takes time to develop and learn.

While I don't know about big foot but I do know the Federal Reserve is not part of the government and if you told anyone this they would look at you like you were nuts, an old time conspiracy that turned out to be true, imagine that. So you find out about big foot Ill be concerned about the state of our nation.

Robert,
I believe we can find common ground that the Common Core standards are not in the best interest of the education system, there is plenty of data out there to support that. American Students, especially at the high school level are mediocre compared to the rest of the world in all academic categories. I use mediocre in terms to be PC.

What I, and others are disagreeing with you on, is the assessment that the standards are intended to indoctrinate children into the Islamic religion. If you can provide data or statistics that point to an increase in that specific variable, if it is even quantifiable,  I would be intrigued to read and sift through the study on how the data was collected to find if it is viable or not.

To act as a victim because someone has a different opinion on an article written on an opinion is rather liberal of you.
