I'll never forget that sleepless night and waiting for the truck from South Florida to show up at my house. It was Valentine's day 2002 and my red and white was on a trailer. I had bought it the day before sight unseen (besides a couple photos)

So around 1030 in the morning the truck rounds the bend and I see a trailer full of junkyard trash motorcycles. My heart sunk. Then I got a full look. All ugly old bikes except for the very last one right at the tailgate.

The driver a 6 foot or better biker dude with tattoos and piercings rolls my Valkyrie off the trailer like it's a child's toy.

As he rolls it up the driveway he says "Happy Valentine's day".

That was 17 years ago today.

Sixteen years and counting. Started life as a '98 Tourer, traded my '92 Wing for it in Gainesville, FL after it was determined my wife was no longer able to ride with me due to her Parkinsons. She told me just because she couldn't ride was no reason for me to give up something I enjoyed doing. Said I could keep the Wing and matching trailer or buy something to take its place. The Valk is the result of that. I've made a couple changes in the sixteen years since, but the heart is still the same. Rather than post a picture, just look below.  cooldude
