Two places to never use as your email address
Your ISP
Microsoft (and it's related domains).

I've used yahoo (the pay version) for a long time. I have a gmail one as a backup, but it doesn't get used much. I also have another gmail one for job hunting.

Even though I've changed my email I still DON'T get notifications from this forum.

Something starts to stink.

Think hard before you put a lot into a new address...

You're the product most of the places that are "free", but
I'd go for gmail before I'd go for yahoo... you could make an email
both places and try them out before you start telling all your
friends what your new email address is...

I have about six gmail mailboxes I have to use, I miss the good old days
of having root on the unix mailserver and using ascii tools to read my mail,
but most people don't want that either  coolsmiley ...

It doesn't matter that I think the cloud is a bunch of hooey, it's what's for supper...
