The US gave $50 billion in economic and military assistance to 184 countries in 2012.
But we can't spend 5 billion for a wall for our own security.
Five of the top countries were Muslim countries that probably don't even like us. The thing that I can't figure out is why the Dems won't budget 5 billion for a wall. They either don't feel border security is important, or they just hate Trump so much that they don't want him to succeed at building a wall.
It's both. They don't think border security is as important as the projected increase in eventual Latin vote for their party (no matter what the cost or mayhem). And they hate Trump so much, they don't want to give him anything, anything at all. Not just a wall. Short of laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknowns, they will oppose every thing he does for the remainder of his term. But none of them will stand with him at the Tomb.
Either way, as a former Democrat (not Socialist), I don't think that the Dems have the citizens of the US in mind.
They do not put the best interests of the Country ahead of party power.
Put me in the catagory of OSS. I'm a frustrated Democrat converted because I've watched my party turn into something I no longer agree with. Or like!
I voted Democrat once. I'm ashamed of myself, but I was only 19. I didn't always vote Republican though; I voted for a couple independents, and two times did a write-in vote for The Easter Bunny in elections with unopposed local Democrats on the ballot.
